i have seen this floor before.
been through the halls a million times.
drawn blood on the pavement just outside trying to see your smile.
so long ive waited dormant, shelved inside.
now im free, ive been waiting a long time.
this beast, it dwelled for a long time.

i have heard this song before.
i can see the music dancing.
i recall the photographs of us, they were enchanting.
the way you smiled and wrapped your body around me,
how entrancing.

i have danced this dance before
and in the end you'll lead
i'd follow you till the ends of the earth,
always know for you i would bleed.
you hands, your skin,
your eyes glow.....deeply i go
but poisen spreads within
deep within your skin.

i have listened to this heart
beating its last beautiful beat.
slowing down with one last kiss, one last caress,
and with one final dance....
we bow together, and live in death forever.

i wasnt realy in my right place when i wrote this. not proud of it at all.

it's not bad.

it's not great, imho, but it's not bad.

it has a really nice repetitive feel, which fits the theme, and ends kind of predictably--but, again, that works with what you're doing.

it's good, but i'd like to see what else you can do, also.

I dreamed I died, but at least I died with you…

I stepped outside again
Its been a while.
The sun blazes the same,
The wind feels the same.
I fear salvation from a child
But as I walk I remember those days.

With every step I recall
Passing each other in the hall
A bitter clatter followed your every word.
You bounce the ball, I caught it far away
But brought it back sooner then late.

And on the eve,
The one I see in photo’s of you and me.
I see no ball, I see no fear.
Only smiles existed here.
Only love plagued us then,
What really happens if I burn this photo
Will it have never been.
Might as well see…

I take a flame, open my hands and,
hold it high above the memory’s of you
I bring it down one photo at a time until
Almost every ash has caught the wind.

I rustle through the remains
Searching to see if you remained the same
And of course, why was I surprised?
I found a piece that had survived,
It was merely a glimpse of your eyes
And it was enough to turn me green.

Now I sit and stare and cause the flare I started to engulf me

But I wont scream… I wont utter please,
To you or any other who would hear me.
Instead I simply lay down my arms to you
In hopes that one day well both wake up
Look at each other and say,
“outside is burning, lets just lay here forever.
in each others arms together, until the flames rise up
And our hearts stop together…

With ever page comes a bitter sorrow…

How long will it take for the bugs to feed upon my flesh
Tearing me piece by piece in different directions
Spit me up and start all over
Suture the wound and send me out again.
Its not the end of the world you know
Being killed over and over,
Its only a test to make me stronger
Because, something is on the way
Something far more ferocious
than any evil I have ever faced.
It’s a woman who heart matches only ice
And body dances to the twig light reflections
Through the windows painted orange
to highlight her intensions.
No matter, I didn’t read the book I just opened the cover
Jumped inside this mangled binding
Something stirring deep inside
I cut my way out though…

It cost me breathe.
I shed it yet again, but only for one last kiss
Bring my lips to yours and feel sweetness touching
Her body dances again, oh it dances
And my mind races, my heart paces
And we began to dance.
Our lives were peaceful with the beat
Flowing in perfect harmony
Then came the bridge…

I walked it slowly, afraid of every step
Afraid I might fall victim to stress
Jealous of the way I made it through
Then grab this blade and start cutting
Start here in your chest.

Rip it out!
Tear it out!
Its freezing in this page
And the music stops,
only bugs live to feast on the remains
With this heart I thee wed
To the ungrateful ever ending book of you
The best worst book I ever read.
