I sit up, I wait and dread. Fear and desperation choke me like thick smoke. long to hear them tell me it was all a dream, but it's not! You were always there for me, so they tell me to go home and rest, but why go back to an empty house. I will stay, until again you are by my side, I place my hands beneath my chin, and watch as the dark becomes dawn, but still no word.
