The Kaos Tr1o stems from an idea I had over the summer of '02, in the fall I finally got myself a drum machine and stole a guitar from my girl friend. In December, I began to compose the majority of my music on softsynths like Fruity Loops. Right now I have about 20 tracks in the works. Since December 31st when I composed Karnal I have written about 20 songs in Fruity Loops. They're all cheesy, but they'll do as experimental work for now.

By the end of this month, March 2003, I will have a 10 track split EP completed with Lich. It will contain 6 of my tracks, and a remix of Lich. Plus pictures, video, essays, artwork and lyrics. Along with FLP files so you can make your own sucky Kaos Tr1o mixes. All of my songs on the EP will contain softsynth, vocals and live guitar. I just downloaded Karnal, and I must say I very much enjoyed it... It reminded me slightly of the trancey feel of Klaus Schultze... I love the way you've (or whoever you sampled it from) compressed the fuck out of the bass drum to make it punch right through the mix... Excellent stuff...

We've got a band in the formitive stages ( ie no practices yet, guitarist can shred but cant write. drummer cant double bass fast enough and has no cymbals, need 2nd guitar, im banned from our bass's home long story, no practice spot, need a mic, andonly lyrics written ) i am the only one, it seems like, who is thinking of drum patterns and guitar riffs to go with the lyrics i wrote. the guys love the lyrics and the rhythm and tempo of them, but somehow cant come up with anything, Nic (our guitar) can SHRED it up like Bob Rusay, Pat O'brien, and Kerry King, but his creative input is 0. Kyle (bass) is so great, he can do some pretty crazy improv taps and hes usually pretty good with guitar riffs and the like, so if he can get his dick out of his girlfriend for 2 seconds wed really cook. Al-x (drums) is great on the toms and snare..... but his double bass is seriously lacking that and his general playing ...... DAMNIT its just not fast enough, not that it needs to be, just for some songs we plan on doing need it and he might not be able to do it quite right. were obviously a cover band or..... will be, but that will change once the ball gets rolling on the parkay floor and not up the stairs like it is now, y'know? what was the point of this post again...? OH YEAH, well be recording the vox soon so we can at least say we got that far, and if i can, i ccould link it up or whatever id do so some of you who are still reading this can hear it, you probably wont like it without music since its not really singing per se. soo..... i dunno.. you'll see.

Sometimes I meet so many people at my shows that I mix up all their names and by the next time I see them I forget who they are. This usually happens until they introduce themselves a couple of times or if they do something odd enough for me to remember. I know you were at Club Anything but it is a little sketchy. :drunk:

Kaos is pretty cool. The MP3 that is. I also use fruity loops on many of my songs. Simple too use...most of the time.

and yes, I thought it would be wise for Me to be there early. I enjoy seeing bands jamming and getting ready .. it reminds Me of My old days when I had a band .. someday I'll start one, but it's not likely as of now.

- i went to high school with the lead singer. him and i were in a few things together, like the fall play, and not to mention select choir. so it's all good!

- i am personal friends with everyone in the band, and i'm dating the bassist to boot. they are REALLY great... very up and coming. they have a lot of exposure in the area, and they are REALLY great. i also do backup vocals for their song "ivy". the updated vocals to ivy are in my journal if anyone is interested.

i don't know the guys in this one, but i know people who know them. and they are REALLY awesome!
