I'm talking about old-school Enix and Squaresoft RPGS for SNES and _some_ Sega of America games such as Shining Force and Phantasy Star. I am especially looking for someone interested in Phantasy Star II, old D&D, Obitus, Might and Magic, Spellcraft, and Wizardry.

NES is alright. SNES I think was the greatest console ever. Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy were two really good games for NES. Zelda was pretty damn good too.

Naw, I'm just kidding, I understand how young you are. You could never understand the value of pac-man, pong, oregon trail, centipede or missle command, you just can't, and I take that into a valuable consideration, I'm the gaming guru, you can't upset me because I know I'm right, it's just that you don't give me much explanation on why these systems are no good, but I understand that you can't do that either because they probably already off the market by the time you were born. Everything is taken into consideration in an opinion Fenriz, every aspect and every angle of everyone's views....

Goddamnit, those games all sucked. SNES RPGs are way better.

SNES rpg's were mad enjoyable in their time, in fact, Chrono Trigger is my most favoritest game ever next to FF7, but godamn....that shit was not oldskool, oldskool can only exist when there is hardly anything, when there is barely anything to choose from, and those who sat in their room all day with their commodore, those are the people that can straight represent their true oldskoolness, you know what I'm saying?

Yeah, but Chrono Trigger was great! And there really weren't that many _great_ games out there at that time per se...

Sik Simon, I know what you mean. I remember Atari and Pong. Atari kicked ass way back when. Centipede, Pit Fall, Mad Bomber. Man those were cool as hell. NES was amazing when it came out. Those graphics blew away everything else. But I'm also young enough to think of SNES as old school. I could even say that Sega Genesis is old school. But nothing will ever beat the old Pong, Atari, and Commadore.

MINION OF HELL

Genesis IS oldschool though! Think back to 1985 when Phantasy Star I came out for the Master System, and then Phantasy Star II in 1989! Think about Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force, and Shining Force II!

Anyone that even remembers a commadore is cool. I mean, every person that plays video games have no respect for back in the old days. Dang those 64 bit or whatever level of graphics they got now and days.

I remember when I used to WRITE my own RPG's for my commadore 64. Sure they sucked, but I did it all by myself!:p

BTW, since when is Chrono Trigger even considered an old game? I just bought it third hand off a street corner last week. It CANT be that old.

Ok, ok, CT isn't that old! I know I know! But it's about respect here! CT set a new standard for gaming when it was released. I mean, come on, mode 7 graphics, excellent character development, etc. etc. You gotta' love CT.
