Is it just me or are many people in this world just hypocrite c*nts.
Most people ask me what kind of music i listen to and they think they already know.
They look at the way i look and say he's got long hair so he must be a headbanger when i mostly listen to drum and bass.
People got some urge to not even listen to the music and already have an oppinion about the music.
I say first know then judge.
The way you look doesn't have that much to do with the music you listen.
Listening to marilyn manson doesn't make you a killer.
Not every metal band has some kind of dark side.
And people woth long hair are sexy not dangerous

So stop the arguments and respect each others choice's

My favourite is driving along listening to Frankie Laine and getting the oddest looks from people. They need to realise there is other music aside from frikkin rap.

Re: music- the people I socialize with are all significantly older than I, so I doubt they'd recognize any of the music I enjoy whether it fit my appearance or not.

I really don't think other people's misjudgement of one's favorite style of music anything to be overly concerned about.

I used to think like you when I was younger, now, I just don't give a shit. Fashion only means you want to play the fashion game. For instance, I used to wear all black, pounds of jewelry, had long hair that actually went to my ass, and I occasionally wore lipstick and nail polish.

Nowadays, my hairs cut, I'm clean shaven, I wear "regular" clothes . . . and kids like you get so freaked out that I am, by all means, "freakier" than they. Yes I listen to death metal and nugoth and old goth and blah, blah, blah; yes I watch exploitation flicks and blah, blah, blah; yes I read splatterpunk and blah, blah, blah . . . what, just becuase I wear khakis and silk shirts, you think I don't know who Skinny Puppy is? Well So Far Everyone here agrees only the bitches around me do'n't agree with me:S
Mainstream has become rap and not like the rappers got something usefull to say theyre just singing about how many girls they abuse howmany drugs they take the money they have and being all look at me bitches.
The netherlands are starting to look like america, where rap is very mainstream and on the television everywhere is rap and 1 year ago there was so much metal.

And yeah people are more extreme in theyre younger days.
If i see how much i have changed in 3 years, i see that everyone grows up but the music for mee stays the same.
Music doesn't say anything from how a person is.
