WARNING: extremely sarcastic and biased. Will piss you off.
Oh yes, their new album is horrible. Absolutely no talent was required to write those lyrics or play that music. Danny Carey is the worst drummer ever; all those impossible fills are stupid. They're all over MTV. Though I've heard nothing but good things, everyone hates them. They only seek to appeal to the masses; all their 8-minute songs will be made into singles. It's different from Aenima, and different is bad. It's complex, and complexity is bad. It's like nothing I've heard for quite awhile, and I enjoy sticking to the familiar, because my head would explode if I was ever exposed to something new. | |
