I occasionally buy a CD on someone else's recommendation that blows complete and total ass. What CDs do you feel horrible for having bought?
Mine is probably Din_fiv's "Escape to Reality." I don't know how many of you are familiar with them (they're supposedly one of those industrial/ebm/electro groups on Metropolis Records) but, my God, they are atrocious. Sounds like a guy muttering dumb lyrics with distortion while a Casio keyboard plays an extremely cheesy melody in the background. | |

I have a friend who is extremely christian, and is always trying to convert me, so every so often, he'll give me some cd's of christian bands....now, some are decent, and Living Sacrifice has actually become one of my favorite bands, but I've noticed that there is a christian equivalent to every other band who doesn't base their careers on religion.
for instance...marilyn manson = rackets and drapes
..and there are so much more, and I really don't want to dig through my collection looking for them...but, I have heard everything from christian limp bizkit, to slayer, to korn, to metallica...blah.

I own a CD called "Why Cry?" by the band Spilt Milk. I didn't pay for it though, I found it on the side of the road. I think my friend's mom knows a guy in the band. I've never even listened to the damn thing. I just hate the title, and I'm scared to see what it sounds like.

bought this CD due to recommendation and also since i had their first album...
Glassjaw - Worship and Tribute (2002)
worst cd evar. I usually listen to a CD several times after I buy it but this is one of the very few and rare CD's I couldn't stand and eagerlly placed on my shelf covered in a dark gray cloth.
