So did anyone play the beta?
It's being release on the 30th..

Debating on adding this game to my PC collection.

I tried to get in the beta but no go. I am tempted if only because they will have a Psionicist class which sounds very cool

Downloading the preorder. Payed the full price but I get to start 3 days in advance of the release date. They have a great selection of starting races and a fair amount of classes to select from. Plus you can get a flying mount that will go anywhere you want it to

Nice. Found out that for one monthly price you can access all the Station games, EQ, EQ2 and Vanguard. It is a great deal I just wish I could get a hold of my original EQ account again.

Yes. I will be up and running on Sunday. Preorders have a pre 3 day head start. the download is HUGE!!! Cable Internet and it is still downloading. 5 main files are just the precursor. over 8Gigs there. The game promises to take up a whopping 18-24Gigs of space. But there will be no instances and no zones to load. It will be completely seamless with over 6 miles of viewing pleasure. They promise that if you can see it you can go there. I have watched several vids and am so far very impressed++++++ Upgrade to a Station.com account for 24.99 and get EQ2, EQ, and the rest of the goodies. It is a sweet deal. Already have EQ2 loaded and have played my lvl 27 Assassin again. They revamped EQ2 and I am fairly impressed with the new stuff.

+++you get a horsie at around lvl 10 because the landscape is soooo vast. you can build fucking BOATS!!!!! Custom boats and direct them where you please. Watch the docks... if you hit them with your boat the dockmaster gets pissed

... the crafting looks very impressive... very,very impressive.... armor,weapons, boats, shit.... very immersive..... and th eboats they showed in the Human Port which is friggen huge look awesome...... I can only hope the gameplay lives up to the rest of it

I am on th elast download file..... 700+megs.. th esmallest one yet and it is taking th elongest.. go figure....

On a side note.... I forgot how fun my little ratonga in Eq2 was too play... he has a wicked backstab

Nah it is the same.... I have a fast mofo computer now... I checked and it is downloading at the exact same speed unless I try to download several files at once.... than it bogs... I was playing COH and EQ2 at the same time.... an ddownloading a 2gig file

I had to cancel WOW and COH/V until I get caught up because of the Vanguard purchase. But still hav eboth until feb the11th....

I am suitably impressed so far. Got into Beta and have been testing out differrent race/class combos. The Psionicist is a bad ass class. Ranger is pretty powerful. And the Druid gets a 20 minute recharge Wolf form that runs hella FAST I am gonna try me a Dread Knight next

Ok. The graphics are beautiful. The racial abilities are perfect. I am going to be on Friday whne it opens early for the preorders My first class will probably be a thestran sorcerer. Thestran Humans get th eracial ability of Leadership which is one of three-- +damage +AC or -3% mana on all spells. They can only keep one up at a time It is kinda sweet. And the Sorcerers seem pretty badass I know Rangers are.... that will probably be my second.

Players can craft boats.... I am still really digging that... gonna have to start a Forester/Shipcrafter hehe
