On top of not being REAL... Godzilla isn't even a Hollywood franchise. So why they did this I have NO fucking clue. IMO Paul Rubins would have been a much better choice, at least he is American.

Well they did apparently to celebrate his 50th aniversary...... how many other movie characters do you know that have lasted that long and been in that many movies? I mean Godzilla is the the Guiness book of records for having the most movies. Besides the Not being real part isn't all that surprising, bugs bunny and mickey mouse aren't real either, and they have stars.
