Papa Roach, Staind, Kittie, etc., etc. before Ozzy, but yet Sabbath was No. 1...? There are far too many pathetic bands that come before the "influental" and "quality" bands on your list..I think everyone else has said what I wanted to about Pink Floyd, the Doors, Zeppelin, and the Stones..there are others...many others...

My biggest problem is that the number you assigned to Kittie, an adolescent angst factory who sells the whiny female image using songs written by their father, was half that you assigned the Rolling Stones, a legendary band of revolutionary music without whom rock would not exist as we know it today.

And before anyone asks, the reason i don't make a top 100 list is that i'm no one to determine the 100 greatest bands... even VH1 couldn't do THAT right... so it would be subjective, say, if it were a list of my 100 favorite bands, it might make more sense... however i'm not even sure i HAVE 100 favorite bands...

i would just like to voice my opinion (thats all it is no disrespect to anyone).
i don't feel like you can possibly determine the best 100 bands of all time
because everyone does have their own opinions. second of all with all the different
types of music out there i think you'd almost have to do them by there classifications.
for argument only, you can't possibly compare bob marley to black sabbath, i don't even
think they should be on the same list both are unbelievable in there musical talents but
still different styles. i think the question should have been more specific. these are just
my opinions like everyone else. i was not trying or would ever offend anyone purposely
i feel that is wrong and all people deserve their freedom of speech. thank you for giving
me the chance to voice my rights.
