I love horror games more than anything. My goal over the next year is to have all of them... though I do have a ton of them already. I like them so much that I bought this controller for my Game Cube:



Anyway, what're the scariest games you've ever played? Some of them aren't even straight-up horror games - Half-Life is scary as hell, for instance - but yeah, show me whatchoo got.

i love to play these games bro, but with having kids it makes it really hard to find the time to play horor based games. Fatal Frame scared the crap out of my son, and well i haven't really been able to play any since then... as for my list. hmmm these are the only ones i can think of that i have played

I've played so many of those games. i've sold them away over the years and all I have left now is my RE 2. Speaking of RE, that's an awesome controller.

I hope that the next wave of Survival Horror games are good as well. I have some high hopes for that Condemned game.

I haven't really tried any of those. Im not a real video game player, and don't care much for the RE play.

But, after a few years, I fineally tried RE OutBreak. I guess I like that stuff now.

I'll give these games a shot. Though I think I might have played Parasite Eve 2 once...

When I will play these games are yet to be determined... Maybe throughout the year.

Here's one that went unnamed...

Clocktower for the Super Famicom. It was re-released for the US on the PS1 since it hadn't been released out of Japan the first time around. The first one is MUCH better though in my opinion, and you can probably find it as a translated ROM somewhere, which is how I played it.

Great game. If you have yet to play it, do so.

Other than that...The only other horror type of games that I've played were ones like Resident Evil, Doom, Parasite Eve, and the Persona series.

I REALLY would like to get my hands on some of the Silent Hill games though. They look great. Also, Forbidden Siren seems like it'd be really great.

Me too is a Survival Horror freak and have all the Resi games for PS1, PS2 and Cube...

I've played Resident Evil 1 and 0. RE 1 was my introduction to the genre and is now one of my favorite games of all time.

However....

Last night I played my 1st half-hour of Silent Hill 1.

....and damn, it's creepy.

Right on. SH 1 was the first horror game i played through. it's still the scariest Silent Hill game, too.

If any of you are in for a scare, try Fatal Frame II. It's unrelated to the first one, so don't worry about playing the first one before the second. They're both good, but the second one made me peepants.

I love both Fatal Frame games, but I think I like the second one better. Ahh..those games creep me out SO bad. Yes, I'm a wuss.

yeah I've been hearing good things about it.

One thing I liked about RE right away, and I like it about SH too; there's no score or meters of any sort on the screen when you're playing, just the scenery.
