My opinion is that sports video games pretty much suck, but here are a few that were entertaining:

Tecmo Bowl (NES) [football]
Goal! (NES) [soccer]
Pokemon Pinball (gameboy) [pinball]
Ken Griffey Jr. Home Run Derby (Super Nintendo) [baseball]
Frogger (atari) [?frogging?]

don't forget about Mutant League Football for Genesis. i find that most entertaining

I've never played it, the name doesn't even ring a bell, that is odd.....

well i'm a ROM junkie, so i know quite a lot.

MLF is football with monsters.
the ''traditional'' and fun way to win is to kill the other team. now in Mutant League Hockey they give you weapons (spikes, chainsaws, etc.) making it all the more fun.

those are the only sports games i like. why don't they make more games like these??

I dunno, they especially suk nowadays, except Tony Hawk pro sk8er, that ruled alot of ass.

generally speaking, the oldies are so much greater than new games. apparently, that was before the creators loss their creativity and motivation.

Yeah, now its all about grafix and gameplay, Squaresoft is the only company I still depend on, though chrono chross really makes you wonder about the velocity of their downward spiral....

i'll tell you what, Chrono Cross sure doesn't live up to my expectations...i was so disappointed with that game.

Hell yeah, it's the only squaresoft game I didn't follow through with, I got to the Hydra and quit.

Squaresoft has gone too far. FF10 on PS2 has lost everything sacred that made the FF series, well, sacred. ugh, it's more action/adventure than RPG. who could have guessed that was coming...? if you can't even trust SquareSoft, then that means the RPG's will end!!
