Um.... I understand your dislike of the movie, but I seem to recall in the comics that Vemon can block his spidey sense.

Yes, Venom can block it. I was not referring to Venom, though. Well before Venom enters the movie, he (Spider-Man) still cannot sense danger, such as the Goblin or Sandman.

i posted this before when talking about the X3 movie, which everyone hated too.

why the fuck would you want to go see a movie of something you've already seen before?

i prefer to see a movie with new different stuff in it, newer stories and lines etc.

if they made the movie word for word and scene for scene from the comics, it'd be pointless.

spidey 3 was a new take on stories already written, retold and restructured.

if you want what was in the comics, read the fuckin comic.

i think you're a little off on that argument, tozzy. we grew up reading the comics and imaging the sequences in our head. i wanted to see that familiar storyline on the big screen with big budget graphics that would leave me as blown away as when i first read the comic.

instead i saw show tunes, dancing and an attempt at merging a pop culture abortion like "emo" with something i loved as a kid.

that's like peter jackson directing frodo to push his hair over his eyes and cry his way into mordor. it's fuck-ing lame.

i didnt write out all of what i said about x3, i dont have time right now to dig out the post. but basically, it was along the lines of -

"dont change the characters, dont fuck with the way things are, but dont put them in the same scenario. not scene for scene identically."

i agree with the emo thing and i still stand on my comments made before in my first post after seeing it first time round. pointless shit merged with some good action. gotta take one with the other i guess.
