were these ever commercially released or is this stuff you just did for fun/other reason? also, where'd you get the orignal multi-tracks for these?

i downloaded them all, burned it on a cd and listened to it on the way home. here's what i think:

a remix isn't adding an intro, a random breakdown and then some shit at the end. it's a complete regurgitation of the song. in most cases you didn't do a remix of those songs. for what ever reason i don't feel like completely bagging on you, so i'll offer this up..

your keyboard hooks at the build-ups are decent, but they need work. your build-ups are good, but in a lot of cases, they're too long or just plain boring. either stop adding each new element at 1/4 notes or figure out how to make it tighter. what ever that keyboard setting is that you use on your songs, it sucks. it sounds like an old casio setting and it really bothers me. if it's just a limitation of your keyboard then get a new one. it'll help you 10-fold.

These were just songs that I played around with for fun.

I've messed with audio before, like making DJ sets (editing/mixing where one song/beat merges into the next throughout a set), etc.. but never actually made/edited a song, or remixed before... so I know they're not perfect by a long shot. They're only my first stab at this stuff.

And I agree.. It's not really remixing totally.. but it's a start I guess. =P

I'll learn more as I go along.
