WTF? You DO NOT change the words of classics!

Prime Example was Cher ack! with her version of Marc Coens Walking in Memphis. she changed the line "I'm as blue as a boy can be to "I'm as blue as a Girl can be" completly destroying the analogy and the poetry of the line.
(the nursery rhyme Little boy blue is about depression, slavery and scuicide, just as ring a ring a rosie is about the black death)

Christmas music is the worst music. I hate hearing A Winter Wonderland by 50 different people played over and over again on our pa system at work. It seems that the artist always changes a line and then another artist changes a different line. Its irritating and wrong. Leave the music like it was written and for the love of god, have someone sing it who can SING.
