I'm also getting into this orchestral doom music by a band called Chamber of Sorrows. It's really just one guy and a string bass. Awesome.

hmm....i like some doom metal, not a big fan though......this band i just felt was a little to amateurish and didn't have much to hook you with, and the sound quality was a bit poor too......but i;m not trying to dis them or anything, but was just "eh" with them.....i'll check out the other band too....thanx
