As far as 'Nat. Treasure' goes, I'm probably going to pass. The fuckin thing was rated PG... and for anyone that doesn't know that stands for 'Pussy Garbage'... If I want to see a limp-wrist action movie, I'll spend my money on 'Alexander'

let me put it this way... its a Disney Movie WITHOUT Johnny Depp in it.

So,there I was with my girl type friend,at the local Silverado cinema.Through a couple of fortunate connections,the security guard managed to get us in free.So,what should we see that we think might suck and don't want to waste money on? Ah,National Treasure.
Oh god,it kicked ass!!! Let me whip out my national Treasure Avatar!
But really, It was a Decent film.All the villains participated in the usual kid friendly violence that is to be expected from a disney movie,and we never see any of Diane Kruger's naughty bits...also to be expected from a disney movie.
I must admit the soundtrack was a little shaky in the beginning (intentional or the theatre's fault?whose to know!?), and I thought the plot was moving a little too fast in the begining. As the movie progresses, it actually gets quite interesting.The mere involvment of the freemason's,and treasure-protectors was enough to keep me from squirming in my seat.
It was a nifty little disney romp,let me put it that way.Most of the predictable jokes or situations that were supposed to be funny were a bit corny.I did think that the sidekick Riley pool, was a bit like screech from Saved by the bell,but it was alright.
I was pleased with the film's ending,and would see it again...maybe.But I would definately rent it!Good movie for the family to enjoy,and who is to say that a little lighthearted adventure is'ent appreciated every once in a while? Im just happy the main characters did'int spring for mcdonalds when Ben Gates(nick Cage) asked, "Are you hungry?"
