So the idea of a man sacrificing himself to save his crew by trapping himself in hell, and failing to save them anyway does not strike you as disturbing?

I found Requiem for a Dream to be quite disturbing as well.
It was like a modern day version of Dante's Inferno.

anyone who really likes to be disturbed should see all of these.

i tend to stay away from disturbing movies cuz i always end up traumatized in some way. but actually i think one of the most disturbing scenes ive seen in a movie was in The Cell where the dad starts abusing his kid. thats just so sick.. im not one for children in fact i cant stand them but doing something like that.. jesus christ i cant stand to think of it. and ohhh.. also in the origional house on haunted hill (i think thats what it was called, the black and white one). the scene where some chick and some guy are in the room where the acid is or something and theyre knocking on the walls to find a hollow spot, and then the lady stands up and that freaky lookin bitch is right behind her. ugggg god i saw that movie about 6 years ago and i still have nightmares. just cuz of that scene.. i have a phobia thing for things like that.. that just kinda jump out at you esp where they look all creepy. and in the Disturbed video of errrrrrm i forgot the name of the song and the one lady with her hair all messed up and they do that headshaking thing.. cant even watch that. and the exorcist is the one movie i wouldnt watch again if i was paid for it. that or the trilogy of terror.. the one with the doll. theres probably more but i cant think of em. =)

also.. this isnt a movie of course, but the book my Stephen King called The Long Walk was so freaky.. its not really scary its just got a lot of sick things in it. makes you think.. theres some sick minds in the world. i reccomend that story above anything else.
