I hate that fact now, having seen football. It's not the squaring-off-and-going-at-it part I mind, it's the "sneak a shot in while the ref's not looking and try to get him to retaliate and draw a penalty" bullshit, the dives, the overall lack of respect among the players that I can't stand now.
Perhaps hockey needs stiffer penalties. And more refs, not necessarily on the ice either, so more of that shit gets called. | |
