Wow!
That was amazing! Uh.. I mean special effects.
The rest was quite OK.
Waiting for other opinions....

No... I won't tell you. Maybe others who looks at this thread don't want to know that [ok, ok... I've cut out this part]... To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

i don't care how many negative responses this movie gets, it fucking ruled!
the attack on zion was THE most badass cinema experience, the effects were in a league of their own. and the fight with smith was kick ass! the tension and events that build up to that scene was pure class.
i loved it, it more than delivered for me... the perfect end to an awesome trilogy.

i will say though that the end might disappoint some people, it might not be the kind of ending some people were hoping for... but it wraps up neo's story, and that's what the whole trilogy was about.

Edited this post, but it was too easy to guess what happened. The you-know-what of you-know-who was obvious (maybe except the second you-know-who). To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

its strange.....i get the feeling for some odd reason that i SHOULDNT be liking these last two sequels as much as i do. but i cant help it. i suppose i am just so drawn into the whole dang blasted thing based on the strength of the first movie alone that i have just decided to go along for the ride. and to hell with any quibbles. but i still have some.
the one thing that was remedied in REVOLUTIONS, that i had a big problem with in RELOADED, was the pacing. the second movie just felt so static and choppy. in this last film the bros. W have gotten their flow back. the movie skips along at a very good pace and never really seems to lag behind whatever its selling. it doesnt feel as heavy handed. and it does seem like the second half of one longer film. RELOADED was the set up and REVOLUTIONS was the pay off.
its good that i actually started to give a damn about the humans in zion this time. i was pulling for them i have to admit. i was worried about that for a minute. its hard to top cool looking insect-eyed many tentacled killing machines in my book. the fight for zion is pretty amazing. hot off the presses FX. there was some cheese strewn about along the way. a couple lines of dialogue or something that made me recoil a bit. but..eh. no great harm done.
the showdown between superman and super luthor (you know who i mean) was also really keen! even though it did feel a might too short. i could have gone for some more ultra-destructive mayhem before it was all said and done. but they must have been scraping pockets for spare change to fund and fuel the FX by then. so i forgive them.
as far as the ending goes...its a toss up. i dont find it incredibly definitive. and neither do the characters if what they say is any indication. but i guess i am satisfied.
as far as trilogies go...it ran out of the starting gate. stumbled somewhat along the way. but was able to sprint to a respectable finish.
ooohhhhh yeeaahhhhhhh! two more things before i go......

i saw it, while i liked the movie i felt somewhat let down... but the movie itself kicked ass, i just wish that theyd show more, i mean the ending was a bit of a copout, and what ever happend to the birth of a half human half program child that the oracle talked about in part 2? i felt they should have made a 4th movie and stretched it out a bit.. THANK god though that this movie was better than reloaded in the sense that there was some actual plot, and science fiction, it wasnt all about kung fu.

I liked it but I didn't find it as good as the previous two movies.
The Zion siege was a bit too long and didn't seems to have enough variety. It was like the same shots over and over again. The Super Brawl really wasn't that super and I had thought this final battle between Neo and Smith was going to be a lot longer. It only lasted a few minutes. They should have shortened the Zion scene and lengthed the Super Brawl for a spectacular ending. I was a bit disappointed with that. I didn't read any of the post cause I figure there would be stuff about the movie in it... But I have read reviews on the movie, and all of them give it bad reviews. Now, what my opinion on the reviews and what people have been saying about it is... These AWESOME movies come out where you know there is going to be sequels or that it's going to be one of those "epic" trilogies like Star Wars... And what people do when they see the first movie, like The Matrix, they think, "OH BOY! I can't wait for the next one! I wonder what is going to happen!?" And they get so into it, that they end up making their own sequel in their mind and they truly believe that THAT is how the sequel should be. And then... the sequel comes out... And it totally is not what they imagined and they criticize it. WTF? What people are doing is doing what they do with religion and sowing their eyes shut and anything thing else that comes along is bullshit. When I saw The Matrix, I had thoughts on what the sequel might be like, but I kept an open mind. And you know what? When Reloaded came out I saw it on the opening night and the theatre was packed, and every seat taken. By halfway through the movie, I watched at least 20 people walk out. By the end of the movie, another 20 had walked out. Why? Because they are close-minded assholes who can't accept something different. I thought the movie was incredible, a very great sequel. And I already know that Revolutions is going to be just as great. People just want what they expect and when it doesn't come, they are dissapointed, no matter how good the comings are. I hear people say the story lags... What do you mean? The story lags? I guarantee it doesn't lag, either you don't have the imagination or the mental capacity to accept, contemplate, or extend the idea further. That or you were just closing your eyes because you wanted something different and your pouting little ass didn't get it.
People are probably going to do the same shit with the X-men series. You'll get these die-hard marvel fans who think it should turn out one way, and the writers make it into something different and most likely better and those die-hard fans will be nothing but pissed off and blind to see how grand the originality and awesomeness of the film is.
If people were more like Star Trek fans I think these films would go over better in the reviews and critiques. Trekkies seem to keep an open mind to new things in what they have a passion for better than the typical public. "Sometimes when I feel like killing someone, I do a little trick to calm myself down. I'll go over to the person's house and ring the doorbell. When the person comes to the door, I'm gone, but you know what I've left on the porch? A jack-o-lantern with a knife in the side of it's head with a note that says "You." After that, I usually feel a lot better, and no harm done." i am not trying to start something here, but didnt we kind of have this discussion about another film? why does it seem that if YOU enjoy a film you have this great accepting open mind, yet when others dont like a movie that you liked they are "close-minded assholes"? that just sounds a tad harsh and presumptuous. quite the conclusion jumper we have here.
i do agree with you to an extent. hype and build up can affect the way people MAY see things. but couldnt it be possible that maybe...just maybe it was a simple matter of them not liking the film because they just thought it was bad? it happens. why should everyone fall in line to what YOU deem as original and awesome? how can you "guarantee" an opinion?
i do sometimes wonder why a certain film or what have you either fails or succeeds in the general public's eyes. its a head scratcher to be sure. the "what do people see in it that i dont?" syndrome. but thats just people for ya.
it may not be so much as "they dont get it" or whatever. it might just come down to taste and preferance. "The great thing about being ignored is that you can speak the truth with impunity."
