I think the older mario's are better than the new ones the only good one for 64 is paper mario and my other favorite one is super mario world for super nintendo but the best one is mario the original one nothing can beat that one.

What is your opinion.

Well the new games aren't that bad well I haven't played any of the Game Cube ones but the ones on N64 are pretty good if you ask me... but I do have to agree that older games tend to be better than the new games I mean overall I liked FF7 than FF10.

One of my buds says that during Mario Sunshine there's one scene where Bowser and Peach are doing something underneath some bubbles or something.. and there's like a baby bowser there.

Anyone who's played the whole game who can tell me if that's right?

Can't say I ever was a big fan of Mario. Though older games I liked more. Newer ones were just a repeat of the same, just in 3D. When they were out I allready lost interest in games like Mario.

I do not agree that older games tend to be better then newer ones overall though. It's just a nostalgia thing. A good new game will be better then most of the old stuff.

Mario sucks, it was a tired franchise after SM World on SNES. Nintendo just can't get any original ideas, take Zelda for instance. Both games are just a constant repeat of the same scenario, only with better graphics, bigger worlds, and new spins on old puzzles.

Nintendo cant get original ideas? Mario 2, World, 64 and sunshine are different styles of games.A hell of a lot more difference is made in their franchinses than in say Resident Evil,Final Fantasy or Street Fighter.

Yeah mario sunshine looks alot different than all the other mario's that came out none of the other ones had mario with a jetpack.But i dont really like the zelda's for 64 especialy the second one they made for 64 i didnt like that one at all.

I meant story wise, its always Bowser at the end, whens he finally gonna die. Same deal with Ganon. Resi is a developing story, with each game the perspective of one of the characters. FF are usually only similar in the battle sequences and the magicks, and SF...well no one really expects any real story in it, its just beating the tar out of someone else.

Yeah your right about that they should change the bowser thing maybe someday they will who knows.

They dont need different stories since their gameplay is the most important aspect......and besides in Mario 2 it wasnt Bowser.

I played it on ZSNES, its pretty good just a bit short.
