I have always, and will always, love it. Some of his 'thoughts' can become muddled....blurring into one another to prevent any real 'definement' and thus prevent a correct response to these questions....but I'll just stick with "Love'n It".

His music rocks. His thoughs on Goverment rocks. His thoughts on Society rocks. His presentation of his music live rocks (I have seen him live numerous time). YOu should read his book "Long Road Out of Hell", if you haven't already - good stuff.

His thoughts on religion is skewed however, he once was given priesthood into Anton LaVey's Satanic Church (which doesn't even ackowledge Satan in the same light Chrisitans do - Satanists don't believe in a physical Satan. They look at life as a sort of yin yang conscience concept sorf of thing.). I was once even a praticing Satanist until the Holy Spirit came to me and I met the one true God. Marilyn Manson has had this too, and that's why he coudlnt'e embarce Satanism entirely. He raised Christian, but judged Christ because "Christians" severely mistreated him. It's a very sad story. But Christ is still in his heart, though is faith is VERY weak. He proclaims it often in his songs even, "I don't hate the one true God...". He's a confused man, and he lives a life full of sin and trys bringing others to that because of his personal suffering.

Even though I definiteyl don't see eye to eye with him, I can still enjoy his music.

Good point, but also "I will bury your god in my wad of spit," how do you explain that.

Notice he said "your god" and not "My God". Hate to break it to you, but your idol isn't at Satanic as you would want him to be.

Satanic, no. I think he's more athiest. Maybe Agnostic. When he says things like your god, I believe he's refering to the christain idea of god and how the church has warped it. God is an excuse to kill people in this day and age, I don't think he believes in any actuall deity, he hates the god that people have created and all that that creation stands for.

I don't think he's actually refering to Jehova - God's proper name - in anyway, decide however is a different story but I digress.

Manson is a god no matter how you put it.

Considering your age it doesn't suprise me you think like that ("Manson is a god"), I thought like that once. Than something happened to me - I fell in love with the love of my life and met God at the same time. Give yourself about 5 years, and see how you think than. I bet it won't be the same way.

I was the most Anti-Christian, super Satanic asshole you could ever meet once - but when the Truth came... I couldn't deny it anymore. I still listen to same sort of music, and dress like a fake Goth loser and that b.s., but I'm that way and I'm a Christian. Only Christ will give the purpose in your life we all strive for. I just hope people like you do that before you start ruining the one thing that matters in your life like me.

God and me don't get along. Different views on how things should run...and with a Satanic pride I feel in the pit of my being that I'm right.

Anyway, I give myself a purpose to live and nothing else, making me self sufficent. I don't need anyone.

But in the Spirit of Satanism, To each his own, and in the words of Aliester Crowley "Do as thou wilt". If God fills a void that you needed to be filled then good for you, you've found what you needed. But what's good for one isn't nessicarly good for another.

Do you have to turn every thread into a "Yay God" Bible humping Jesus love fest, Duke E.? Let the kid believe what he wants to believe. It's not your place to try to convince him otherwise.

How is telling someone my own life experiences and giving opinionated life advice from my own life failures because I was a similar person forcing someone to believe? He can do whatever the fuck he wants (it's his life, not mine), I justt know if I had a second chance I would do some things differently, and some things much more urgently....... Is it wrong to wish upon others a life free from the misery I have spent?

And why does everyone try to lynch me because I different beliefs than everyone else here??? If one does not see there beliefs as fact, and suggest the same for other people - they don't really believe them! Besides with the God shit that has happend to me, there is no doubt in my mind what the real deal is...... and I was the hugest doubter and Anti-Christian there was to be found just about....I HATED Christians, I HATED God, I HATED all this shit I thought was a bunch of outdated crock. I though if there was a God, how could he let me physically and verbally abused for most of my life, how could he let all the horrible things in my life happen, and how could some people be foolish enough to believe and worship such a God. Plus I really judged Christianity on the imperfection of it's followers, without really giving it much of a chance. I mean there was a point in my life I ready to dedicate my life to abolishing Christianity - but then Truth came to me through the love of a Christian girl - the most beautiful, peaceful, graceful creature I had ever seen. And if I can come to believe in God, and God can forgive me with all that have done (past and present), he will forgive anyone.

I grudged at the idea of true love, and getting married all that jazz. But than I met her..... I had no intentions of it happening, but it did and it changed my whole outlook on life. But I took this wonderful gift, knowing it was a gift from God and the meaning to my seeminly worthless life, and plain and simple took it for granted. Now I am paying a HUGE, HUGE price. I believe in my God though, and my God says this seperation between us won't always be true - so I pray and put trust in him. He brought me to her, he can bring her back to me.

You should read about a guy in the Bible called Saul (better known as Paul when Christian), he was the same exact way I used to be except worse - he wanted Christians slaughtered. But after God came his life, he became the most important and well known person in Christianity besides Jesus himself and pretty close to half the books in the New Testament are accredited to him.

I'm not saying to anyone you HAVE to change your live or whatever, just don't be suprised if the same shit happens to you if you don't. Why not to give it a head start, and least give it a honest chance?...something good might happen to you.

I'm just saying people's views and thoughts can change rapidly and stubborness to realize that can really fuck up your life....

overall he is intelligent, but some of his veiws are twisted by his fans. love him for what he does and dont let him influence you, let your brain and thoughts be your own, dont change them because some famous dude tells you different. sheep! unless its howard stern who tells you to. lol

I agree he is a great musician, but I could give a rats ass what he thinks, one thing I've noticed recently, it seems every die-hard manson fan cannot spell, what the hell is muisc?

it think he makes pretty good music and i dont care about his religus belifs since im an atheist, as for his thaughts on goverment and society ...well i not an american so his belifs dosnt mach even if the are good or bad.
