No, I'm not hailing this "gothic" musician, etc., but I must say I didn't give him a chance; I am fan of Manson's music (not performance) since the original soundtrack for Resident Evil; he is a rather talented composer, I WILL give him that.

I love him more as a performer than as a musician because he brought a nice little love-tap to the visual aspect of music in the 90's. In the days of grunge rock dressing and bands not getting into the music vicually, he created something for people to enjoy with the eyes and the ears, all while making a point. I'm not too big into what he did with Holy Wood, but he'll always be in my highest regards, if not for the music alone but for his crowd manipulation. He's the essence of entertainer, he's the 90's Ziggy Stardust.

Hmmm I love Manson as a Performer Artist and i look up to him as a poet...his music has reached me more then any other artist i listen to mostly just his music another thing that drives me nuts bout this guy is hes so open with his mind and he dont give a shit what people think of him he dont let no one walk on his talent he came along way considering the fucked up child hood he went through and should be damn proud of where he is today Holy wood on the other had was some bit of a depressing album and he got alot of shit touring for that album i know when he came to perfom for denver in colorado where i live for ozzfest church groups had almost got there wish and banned him permently from denver but he got his show and it kicked ass ...but anyways listen to me ramble on..............well hes a beautiful artist performer and poet i have looked up to his music for years ya just got to read between the lines

I like him because he is not part of only one genre but something completely different.
