HAs anyone ever got MAME to work on NT or Windows 2000?

I can get MAME up and running and I put the zipped ROMs in the ROM folder but when I run an audit it doesn't find the ROMS..

Am I doing something really stoopid or is it my OS that's causing the problem?

Try downloading the latest version, then if you are sure the roms are in the right directory, press f5 to refresh the rom list, then check the available roms.
It should work fine... it works for me.

I've tried everything, I must be doing something simple wrong.

I'll just have to forget about it for a while and come back to it fresh
