Anyone own these flicks? I got them recently in the mail (copies of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy...so they're pretty shitty quality). A friend in NJ dubbed me Nekromantik II and my friend in NY dubbed me Nekromantik, Schramm, and Der Todesking. They're fucking great. Those Germans, man....wow. Anyway--I love them. I was wondering if any of you all had seen them or even know who I'm talking about.

Last night I ordered a Nekro II t-shirt to wear around town lol. I'm going to wear it on a date someday, I swear.

YES! finally someone else has seen this stuff! they are tough to find...so much so that i have only been able to see the first NEKROMANTIC film. just completely whacked out greatness. the ending to the first NEKRO is just so.....so.........yeah!!! ;} i can hardly imagine what his other films are like.

You're right--the end of Nekro is just totally great. I mean--damn. I watched Nekro II before I watched the first, actually, because I recieved Nekro II before anything else. The second one is just as gross. The end of it is fucking great. It's gore factor is equal to or greater than the first's end.

Schramm--It's about a serial killer and it is FUCKED UP!!!! I mean....it's great. I can try to dub you a copy if you want me to.

Der Todesking (death king)--Seven short stories of death and suicide...also a good flick but hard to follow.

i have been wanting to see "THE DEATH KING" movie. well...any more of his stuff actually. like i said. hard to find. i was just incredible surprised when i found the first NEKRO.

i have read some articles about some underground japanese films. they sound very VERY over the top. just no holds barred sadistic fests of depravity! makes my freak-gland twinge in hopes of eyeing some one day. i do have the japanese film BATTLE ROYALE on tape. that is one of the more popular ones floating around. i can understand why studios would be squeamish about distributing it here. they would come under fire from many different "purity" groups i'm sure. i am guessing, from what i know, that BR is actually one of the tamer films being made in japan. there has been alot of talk about japanese horror films that are being made recently. if you want to see a good horror flick..it sounds like those are the ones to watch out for.

Like I said...Der Todesking is pretty hard to follow. As long as you keep in mind that these are seven separate stories that are linked together by suicide, death and murder, you'll be fine, I think. I had to watch it twice to even get a little of it.

Schramm is by far one of the best. I fucking loved that flick. On the 4th of July I took it to a friends house and we watched it with a few people while drinking and it was a riot. Everyone will pretty much think you're one big sick fuck for owning something like that. I love it.

I ordered a couple new flicks the other day (ended up damn near $70.00...grrr...). I ordered the Inferno of Torture Limited Boxset (Japanese). It was 35 dollars but it comes with the Inferno of Torture tape and another film by Ishii, only released in this set. I also get an Inferno t-shirt, a set of stills, a torture poster, a medallion with the Tokugawa logo and some other shit. I'm pretty damn excited bout that

I also ordered Der Weg nach Eden. It's a mondo movie from Spain and Austria (1996). It's directed by this dude, Robert Adrian Pejo, and it's the absolute last stock of tapes in the world of the work of this pathologist in Budapest, Hungary. There's a warning before buying it that says the graphic nature of the film makes it sometimes pretty hard to watch. They caution you to be prepared...lol. The bad thing is it has no subtitles and its in German. I don't know German...oh well. Who needs talking when you're watching autopsies??? That one was 25.00.

the movie BATTLE ROYALE isnt really any type of horror film. its about this group of high school students that are sent to this island by the government and then are told that thay have to kill each other off. it is violent. when i first started hearing about it i was really expecting something way out there. it is good...dont get me wrong..it just isnt all THAT terrible to watch. surprisingly the kid actors do a very good job in their reactions to the situation. i was expecting it to be very hokey and cheaply made but it looks good. me likey!

Nekromantik was interesting, but untilmately a crappy movie due to low production values. Still, lots of fun. I am still waiting to see Schramm. As for Japanese movies, the Guinea Pig series are pretty rough to watch, and were investigated for being snuff films. If you get a chance, watch Cannibal Holocaust, brutal. I've seen it, but don't own it yet. I have Mountain of the Cannibal God, and Jungle Holocaust. Plenty of nudity and gore, and many senseless real animal killings...fun for the whole family.
