Isaac had his skull cut open and his brain removed. The only way I see them bringing him back is if Hiro does some pretty twisted, paradoxical shit with his time travel ability. However, it seems we're supposed to accept that the future is inflexible and can't be changed...maybe.

i don't really think that's the case, dude. hiro told his buddy at the beginning of the episode 'we need to learn what we did wrong so we can go back and change it' while they were looking at the post-bomb new york.

i think isaac will be back but in a past tense. just before sylar killed him he said something to the effect that he left instructions on how to kill sylar.

as for killing sylar i think from peter's ordeal it's pretty obvious that if your brain stem gets severed then you die. maybe that's the way to kill him? hiro's sword into the back of sylar's head for teh win.

i really don't think issac is coming back. he knew everything that is going to happen. and remember that last comic he sent out? about hiro's "final adventure"? that's probably what he meant about letting the others know how to kill syler.

Isaac was always a secondary character for me. I didn't figure he'd last out the whole saga. I agree that he'll be featured in flashbacks and any time travel bits.

Hiro goes and gets himself cock diesel in the future. I like his little chin pube patch.

mostly i'm trying to work out what Linderman's plan with Mika is. The plan to blow up NY i get, initially i thought Linderman would heal Peter, his brother relaying to Linderman what happened and Linderman needing Peter would save him. But the glass, in the head...

it seems Sylar has also got the ability to either heal, or do some kind of thing to repel or allow objects to go through him, after Matt shot him. Peter doesn't actually die, he's just in a state where an object was stopping him from healing. much the way Claire was until the post mortem when that piece of wood was pulled from her brain. Sylar would have to be killed in a way where an object obstructed his healing. It would have to be either by decapitation or another method causing instant brain death, due to his telekinetic powers. IE - slicing off limbs won't help.

the "YOU" by Hiro was said in such a way that makes me wonder if Hiro with the bumfluff on his face said it in relation to "you. you, the stupid one from the past who thought this was all a bad thing. the one who wanted to stop it" or "you, you who failed to help" or just "you... now... what did i say to my past self?" in a kind of bill and ted way. though less mentally challenged.

what is for sure, is i can't wait for the next episode.
