I'm sad about Godsmack honestly... they won that Grammy for a single that didn't even have their own lyrics on it.... they'll be on the Scorpion King soundtrack... it's all rather dissapointing to me.

welcome to the music industry sphyre. there are tons of bands out there who aren't writing their own lyrics or even their own songs for that matter. the usual progression for bands is that they start off as artists writing their own shit, then become performers who are only up there to bring in the money, regardless of who wrote the songs or music.

Peh. Godsmack is trash. There isn't anything special about them.
And they're in that proud group of bands with "raw" music. And they all make me mad too... stupid RATM talking about how they don't use samples. Well... jesus! I do. So silly.
But that's off topic.
Godsmack is worthless. I don't think there's any reason for anyone to like them.
I hate Godsmack. They're just a pathetic Alice In Chains rip-off, not to mention the fact that they stole their name from an Alice In Chains song.
