Does anyone else think this is the stupidest move ever?


Why bother making or buying this? You're paying $100 for a smaller version of the GBA (which was already small enough), and this sucker has a screen so small that i'd even make an army sniper go blind. Plus, for $30 more, you can get a DS, which plays all GBA games on top of DS games. Why must everything get smaller and smaller? Pretty soon, we won't even be able to see the Gameboy without a microscope.

Because the Jappos have small willys and want people to think smaller things are just as good if not better than a big clunky 9 incher things. (which they are not)

Does it take a regular sized game cartridge? aren't they just as big as this?

Kinda like the iPod nano. for 50 bucks more you get 16GB extra only it comes in a slightly bigger device.

I saw these being advertised at the UK PSP launch and thought to myself 'What the fuck?'...

The guy in the shop couldn't understand it either as the Gameboy is just about done and like Anti said, you can get a DS which does a shit load more for not much more. Younger gamers won't go for it cos it's not flashy enough and older gamers will either have the sense to get a DS or buy a cheap second-hand Gameboy Color or GBA.

Nintendo have lost the plot with this one...

Well if it only cost like $10.00 Self might be interested LOL !! It looks painful to play ( ever go back to playing a Sega master system or 8-bit nintendo the controlers hurt due to there size leaving ya wondering HOW THE HELL DID I EVER PLAY WITH THIS !! LOL !

Hell just putting my hands up to the screen MY BEEEFY PAWS ARE TO BIG for such A tiny device ...maybe i'll get one for my 8 year old LOL
