Final Fantasy X International for Japanese Confirmed
10:33 pm :: Ultima Googleplex - Talk about it
Square has announced that it is currently working on a new version of FFX, known as Final Fantasy X International. Much speculation has it that the game will have similar features of that of Final Fantasy 7 International, which was released in Japan only. FF7 International features a perfect guide to the game, with maps, vehicle art, and FMV movies.
However, others are saying that the game will only feature English Voice overs.
Final Fantasy X International plans on arriving in Japan on January 31, 2002. More on this as it comes.

Yet another international thats just made for the money.
What would you like FFXI on?I dont mind as long as it has little loading times, no doubt it`ll be PS2 with the history of Square and Nintendo and the fact that Microsoft have no console experence. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

I'd love to see it on the gamecube, to have final fantasy go back to the days of Nintendo would be awesome, but it's not gonna happen......You can't fit that much memory into anything but the PS2 or a PC and expect it to function properly......

Upgrading from the PS is good as you dont have to throw away all your old games if you sell the system. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

Whats the matter with Square's and Nintendo's history?
The gamecube cd thingy is capable of holding a vast amount of information.....more than a cd......and I think even more than the PS2 DVD? A double sided DVD can hold 14 gigs of information.
I read somewhere that Square asked to work on a game with nintenos and ninteno refused. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

The gamecube cd thingy is capable of holding a vast amount of information.....more than a cd......and I think even more than the PS2 DVD? | The memory capacitator in the gamecube is seemingly primitive to that of the PSX or the PS2, the Playstation works like a computer, it "Thinks", the gamecube is just Nintendo slowly upgrading it's systems by doubling the memory capacity of the N64 and adding the disk thing, which purpose lies in satisfying the masses, making it multi-pupose, and seeming more like the Playstation. Nintendo came out with the 8-bit N.E.S., then doubled it for the S.N.E.S. but they thought 16 wouldn't be enough so they doubled it again to 32 bits, then they doubled it to 64 bits for the N64, and now, the gamecube=128 bits of gaming, which equals 128 megabytes of memory capacity, a playstaion has over a thousand (1024) which is one Gigabyte and 24 megabytes of memory capacity, and the PS2 has more than four Gigabytes of memory capacity, which is more than some home computers!.....

32? The SNES had 32 bits, PSX just blows that away, The way that the Playstation is made is very similar to the making of a PC, the microbits are all linked on one big platform and when the system is taking time to "think" all of the breakers open, kind of like a battery circuit and all of the memory is then allowed to travel through the circuits as electronic data to and from the main ports. If you haven't noticed, the PSX has a kind of graphics system that is ideally similar to a computer in the sense that everything is mathematical and the polygon are distributively defined. The only real advantage that Dreamcast has in graphics is colors, it can allow up to 526,000, some computers can only hold 128,000, I'm not sure how many the PSX allows but it is limited because color and sound beacons take up space on the circuit board, and space is something that the playstation doesn't have much of because it has so many memory drives and microbit platforms.

SNES=16MB same as the Sega Genesis.Playstation=32MB in memory. You cant even get a $2500 PC with over 1000MB.
Anyone worried about the phone bill charges, Playonline charges and charges for just playing the game mounting up? Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

This is what I think reviewers will say about FFX:
Great graphics, great gameplay, awesome storyline, awesome mini-games.
This is what the players will say:
Great graphics, good mini-games... repetitive storyline repetitive gameplay, too short. (\ /)

Gamplay yes but the storyline is only repetitve when looking at the series as a whole and not the individual games IMO. Work is of two kinds: first, altering the position of matter at or near the earth's surface relatively to other such matter; second, telling other people to do so.

I played the demo today, and... simply put... the graphics leave much to be wanted, since it's a leap from the psx to the ps2... Also combat is quite boring *easy as hell, you don't even have to use items almost all the time* and summoning things just makes it super easy.
One nice thing about combat is that you can switch in other characters, although you have to switch it when you're on the person you don't want in the fight, otherwise you're stuck using the wrong lineup, and since it's PURE turnbased *no more crappy atb thingy* that can get a tad annoying. Simply put though, I just kept mashing on the X button throughout all of the fights... nearly fell asleep during the "boss" fight..
Another nice thing was the first CG segment I saw... not that bad, although highly confusing, since everyone looks alike..
And what's up with the main guy looking a little like a girl..? WHY ARE THEY ALWAYS LIKE THAT? (\ /)

NES 8-bit - Cartride based (games already in memory).
SNES 16-bit ditto.
N64 64-bit ditto.
Playstation, 32-bit, 2Mb Memory (2048bytes)
PS2, 128-bit, 8Mb memory (approx 8200bytes)
My PC has 1gb memory - cost me £1250.
The more memory (in M the more information can be LOADED onto the console. The game itself with the X-Box and the PS2 are both DVD (the same), I think gamecube is DVD as well, but I don't know anything about gamecube.
The more bitage the broader the machines chip-to-chip information passage 'bandwidth is'.
Memory isn't that important as long as you can push the polygons fast (which is graphics card based).
The cufusion arrives from cartridge based systems whose size was measured in Megabits - don't ask.
The more important statistic with these new consoles is the polygon pushing rate. Beware of consoles giving the push rate for different types of polygons.
Anyway they could all probably cope with the new Final Fantasy game which I think will be excellent. I've played every one so far, and my favorites are FFVII and Final Fantasy 5 (or 2 for the American release). I just hope the plot is as good as FFVII or FFIX, because I didn't like FFVIII that much (why did she want to compress time anyway?) Thanks. Find out exactly what to think, next.

I have both an XBOX and a PS2...lucky me right!
Anyway...
Do you know how much memory the XBOX has? 50000+ Blocks of memory!!!!!
I have 3 games play all the way through with different memory shit saved and a soundtrack with 667.45 min of music on it and still no block of memory taken up!
Yous did know the XBOX could copy music from your CDs right, yeah well it can! I found that it plays DVDs better too, easyer and faster! As far as looks go, Max Payne looks the same for XBOX as it does for PS2! But PS2 for me loads faster, where as XBOX seems not too.
PS2 has a lot better titles at the moment too, XBOX seems like a suped up N64 with some really stupid titles coming out and already out!
Sorry I'm not a N64 fan, games like Banjo Cawhatever and Donky crap don't strik me as a reason to give away money!
As far as my computer go's, well its got 46 MB and its 233MHZ with MMX crap and I payed $400.00 for it used...and it can only play The Sims
OK I said all I have to say for now...like you all care anyway! Cool thread... Life is a big bad wolf and it wants to eat you

I like FF8...
I love the idea and CG to it, and the play was fun for me and plus it was the only FF game I ever played long enough to get into...
FF7 was good too...
I like to play 3
And I will end up playing as many as I can in the long run! Life is a big bad wolf and it wants to eat you
