Who saw the movie? Comments?

Overall I liked it. I'm glad Hollywood made a car movie that wasn't completely about big block V8s that can't handle.

My problems with the movie:

*You do NOT double clutch while drag racing; you powershift
*Spinning your tires is probably the slowest way to launch a car
*EVERY car had a turbo and nitrous. I like turbos, but EVERY car having a turbo and being on the bottle?
*Now I have to listen to every rice boy calling Nitrous Oxide "NOS." Fucking idiots, NOS is a brand name, Nitrous Oxide is the stuff in your car
*The scene where the 'hero' says he needs two bottles, and the big ones... The size and number of bottles doesn't means shit as far as power goes. The only thing that regulates how much power you get out of a Nitrous system is the jets. If he said "I want to use a 48/36 pill" that would have been better.
*When they pop the hood of the green eclipse, that one guy says "Cold air intake, T66 turbo..." THE CAR STILL HAS THE STOCK EXHAUST MANIFOLD! heh
Why must the rice out a Toyota Supra? Damn pink paint...
A 10 second quarter mile on 19 inch rims in a front wheel drive street car with a body kit on it? Riiiiight...

Other than that, i greatly enjoyed it. And that chick that played as Vin Diesel's Sister is HOT.

I thought the movie was entertaining overall. I don't know a two shits and a fuck about cars or engines, but the only thing that did IRK me was... That skinny guy that drove the souped up VW Jetta... I mean, WTF?! A bloody fucking JETTA?! I mean, this IS just my opinion, but I think those cars blow dogs for quarters. He may of had a kick-ass motor in the thing and the thing could of made you swallow your own tongue when driving it, but HELL! The thing looks UGLY! The fucking shape of it looks like it would catch every damn bit of air. I don't know shit about cars, but isn't WIND RESISTANCE supposed to be like a pretty big factor as far as getting a racing car to it's top performance?

Hell... either way, I think those things are ugly.

But ya, the movie kicked ass.

Cool movie, I thought it was great! I can't drive and I know nothing about cars except that most of them looked cool!

Jordana Brewster...I thought the movie was pretty good. Acting was decent and the scenery was even better. So Duddy, you didn't think Michelle Rodqriez (Diesel's gf) was hot?

ah yes, the return of the jock movie...

Nah, she didn't really do anything for me. But Ms. Brewster certainly did
