i buy it, but only because i cannot find any free mp3s of my preferred music ( ie: industrial synthepop ethereal EBM darkwave)

i couldnt find VNV nation on an "elite site" but found EVERY backstreet boys song possible.

kazaa = windows, im on a mac
morpheus = need buy a t shirt
mp3.com - great, but only a few songs, bigger ones dont even bother

in the end i'll buy all my music to support artists and record shops, but untill then, where can i find some free industrial mp3's?

Well, I buy some music and just rip them to mp3's... but when I don't have them money (whitch is all the time) I just go on MIRC. I find everything... from music, music videos to movies... just recently downloaded Interveiw with the Vampire... Granted it's been out fo r a while, but now I can watch it no matter where I am...

I usually just burn my music. But if I like a few songs by a certain group enough, then I'll splurge and get the CD.

I like downloading singles, because otherwise they start to add up in $$ real fast.

But if I like a band, I'll buy the CD..... assuming I have the available cash.

i would get mirc, and they have cracks for the others that ya need to pay for

I buy all my music because it gives me an excuse to get away from my computer.
