Welcome to the Darkforum Best Movies of the year awards thread. Just a month left till we reach the even number goodness of 2008. We need to choose the best movies of the year according to members of Darkforum.com

Think back to the beginning of 2007 and decide what your favorite movies were. Create a top 10 list and then post it in this thread. Make sure you follow the following rules:

1. The movie MUST have been released to the majority of audiences in 2007. If there was a limited released in 2006 and then a public release in 2007 then it may be included in the list. Check The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) to confirm.
2. The movie must be either a: Cinematical releases, direct to TV movie, and/or direct to video/DVD movie. A DVD of a cinematical release from a non-2007 year is not eligible.
3. Please make your list at least a top-5 list. A top-10 list is preferred. The position of your favorite movies will affect it's over all score.

Here is the points system if you post 10 movies:
1. 12 points
2. 10 points
3. 8 points
4. 7 points
5. 6 points
6. 5 points
7. 4 points
8. 3 points
9. 2 points
10. 1 point

If you post a top-5 list:
1. 11 points
2. 7 points
3. 5 points
4. 3 points
5. 2 points

If you post just one movie then it will get 6 points.

The number takes into account the mean score of the top 10 list.

You have until midnight on December 31 your local time. You can have only one list. You can edit your lists anytime before then.

Yeah, could everyone please read the rules before posting here? Only movies from 2007. Of course it can be taken into account that different countries get movies released at different times. If anyone is confused and needs clarification, PM me or gargypants.
