The clock on our computer doesn't keep the correct time no matter how often we reset and press apply. Syncronization is also ok. The clock on the networked computer using the smae XP system is fine. Any ideas, my dad would be very grateful? He gets pissed off easy!
what OS are you using, do you shut down your system everynight or just log off of it

If it were a defunct CMOS battery Crypt, they'd have BIOS errors all the time, so I'm ruling that one out... My guess is, if it's not OS dependant, the system clock circuit has been damaged or has malfunctioned. It's not a critical error tho

not entirely true Aet, i had a dying battery that kept the settings, but wouldn't keep the time if it's life depended on it.
