I love alot of the 80's stuff, a few of my faves though ... Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, Human League, Aha, Rockwell, Billy Idol ... bah, the list goes on ...

A few weeks ago I became addicted to the SI model show (yes I'm a reality tv freak) and the theme song, which was Duran Duran's Girls on Film. I played that one for about a week straight, haha.....what a good booty shaking song that is.

Depends on what kind of music you're talking about. My favorite 80s bands are The Melvins (still goin' strong), The Pixies and Husker Du. The Clash and the Cure were also cool. If you're talkin' strictly 80's post-punk/new wave, my faves include Billy Idol, The Psychedelic Furs, Tears for Fears, A Flock of Seagulls, and Cyndi Lauper.

The Psychedelic Furs, they sound fun....never listened to their music before. I'll have to check it out.

okay, um, i was born in 81, but i wasn't really into the 80's....'cuz well, i was still a kid....and i never did like a lot of music in the 80's....but i guess some were okay...

and um....i just kinda liked the random 80's songs or albums....like Prince's "Purple Rain"...some Pat Benatar....eeek....the 80's....i'm so new-school.....ahck!

Guns N' Roses certainly counts(!!!),even though they put out their music rather late in the 80s. Those dirty rockers....those SEXY MEN .... those *gets carried away with herself*

and yeah, actually I too like alot of the stuff Prince put out, oh, and nobody has mentioned MJ yet, what of him? He had some decent shit in the early days as well.

I graduated high school in 1986. I was a hair band fan when it was cool to be a hair band fan, but I remember rushing home from school, as EVERYBODY did to see the debut of the Thriller video.

I like the 80s pop music more now than when it was new. The club we go to on Friday nights has goth/industrial upstairs, and all 80s in the basement.
