well, the things i wanted to win did, that's all that matters.

I was happy that Alan Arkin from little miss sunshine won... and props to him for ignoring ryan seacrest on the red carpet... that guy is a douche.

The same reason I don't like dancing penguins.

I didn't mind Ellen and I really agree about Arkin. He's great. I've been a huge fan ever since he's brilliant performance in So I Married an Axe Murderer.

Hmm, this seems odd to me...babel soundtrack wins.. but none of the songs from babel are on the individual list...

Babel won for best score. Probably it was mostly instrumental. Everything in best original song has lyrics. Thus the difference. A score is usually background music and written in parts.
