i have this kidney problem, and it can get really bad sometimes. this is one of those times. i have a temp of 103.6 and the room is spinning. i told my mom the other day that i was in horrible pain, she did nothing. so at 4 am today i broke out in these hives and then the temp came. this is not the first time she has waited till the last second to do something about it. i've talked to her over and over again (mostly when i'm in the hospital cuz she waited 2 long) about how she needs to stop waiting if she is consered about my health. and yes, i've called the doctor many many times but she always finds some exuse not to drive me. is my mom trying to kill me? what can i do to convince her she needs to be more consered about her daughters helth? you would think after 6 hospital visits totaling about 4 months in the hospital would do the trick. help?

Do you have good friends in your real life? Talk to them too about this... you need as much support as you can find. I am telling you this cause your mother will not be around all the time you know?

yeah, i know she aint going to be around later in life. but unfortunantly i'm still 14 so its not like i have a lot of friends that can drive me anywhere.

Hey Gurl, i think u should try talking her, i know ur mom luvs u a lot so maybe if u explain to her that she needs to do sumthing early on b/f the pain gets 2 bad so u don't have problems later on. Feel better, hun!:p

my mum told me to tell u to remind ur mum (Sheesh, try saying all that in one breath!) "that she's guilty of child neglect which is prosecutable in a court of law if she doesn't address ur health issues" i have to say that i agree completely w/ that.

I think your mom may be guilty or may not be able to come to terms wth it. Thats all I can really say. Hvae you tried sitting and talking to her ? I know that if your like me ( a typical 14 year old) you don't sit down and talk to your mom a lot but that doesnt mean she doesnt care. Just ask her why she doesnt seem to be bothered and stuff.

But anyway, yeah, talk to her, its really all you can do. Or, if all else fails, you COULD threaten her with Neglect. Dunno how that'd work with your mom, because I don't really know her. But its always worth a shot if nothing else works.
