My friends often obsess about my weight for some reson especially my closest 2 friends because I don't eat lunch or anything at school. On Friday ( yesterday ?) my friend zoe kepped bringing up the subject that I had lost weight quite a lot over the last few weeks I dunno what to do because if I eat any more than I do already I feel guilty and it makes me really ill. I don't know what to do to stop my friends from worrying and stuff cuz if I start eating like I did again I will put a lot of weight on and I don't want to do that . I dont want them to worry about me but I don't want to stop what I'm doing if it makes any sense. Oh I dont know.

Just have to go for the right foods in higher amounts(like you dont realise this already).I dont know what your weight is (and I cant ask) or how much you`re eating but I`m sure you shouldnt feel guilty from eating at all....

I dont eat a lot at all. I refused to get out of bed until 12pm so that I didnt have to have my breakfast even though I hadnt eaten since 4pm yesterday so I think that is something like 20 hours ? And then I had a cheese sandwich and Ive just had half my dinner which I have been eating in front of my parents but now I have an excrutiating pain in my stomach from eating it. I hate being how I am even though my friends say that I'm normal and I'm thinner than quite a few of them. I just feel guilty about what I eat and everything and on thursday everyone was out so I had ate a piece of pizza but then I thought I had been really greedy and thought about how much fat it had in it and vomitted it . I just hate it and I tend to spend a lot of time by myself. Even the sweets I have had given to me by my moms fiance Ive took half of them and put them in a bag in my drawer to make it look like I've eaten them. I feel quite ashamed about this but I think that if I dont do it I will be going back to how I was about 6 years ago and everyone will start bullying me again.

..Maybe you should go to the doctor, if you're experiencing pain when you eat..You might really have something wrong with you. (Physically) So, my suggestion: Go. To. Doctor. Doctors are your friend. (Unless they're not) o.o

You sound like you have the beginings of a eating disorder.

I`ve had that kind of stomach pain before and felt a bit ill from eating even small amounts, it happens when I havent eaten anything for a few days.

I just don't know. I just have no self confidence at all in my figure or anything. As my friends have been worried about my weight and everything Ive been on a few sites and from whta I've read about ED's it does sound like I have one. I just don't want to lose control because I always used to be bullied even though I havem't in about the last 4 years or something. Its just like boys, I'm shy of them because I always have a nagging pain about what if someone tries to do that to me again ? ( I had an issue when I was about 6, a boy tried to take advantage of me) . I just don't want people worrying about my life. Thankyou for all the advice but I am not going to the doctors about it, I dont even think its that serious.

Ok. If you think you have got one then I suggest you try stop now before it gets out of hand. Unless you want your hair to fall out, your skin to turn yellow, your periods to stop (if you are a girl) and be completed obsessed with nothing else but eating then go on and do it.

Take it slow. Try aim for three meals a day. At this stage, I don't think you really need to see a doctor yet.

Well they will worry about you life if you are taking steps to reduce your health to make youself feel more secure.You do need someone there to help supoort you with this if not a doc them a close friend that knows you feel this way.

The thing is my friends don't make me feel any better about things like this and find it hard to relate to me. Like zoe, the only thing she is bothered about if I'd tell her this would be ramming food down my throat at all times of the day

But thats no subsitute for someone to talk to offline, even on the phone helps more.

I think the only person I could talk to this about is my friend richard. He lives in wolverhampton so there is like a few miles between us but we only talk now and again but he is always willing to listen and everything so I might give him a buzz later. I'm sure zoe would react that way , she did before when I was homesick and wouldnt eat and other times when we are about town.

They must be concerned or they wouldn't bother trying to make you eat. They might feel you are shutting them out by not talking to them. If you tell them they will probably want to help you.

Yeah I'm from the UK , in the Staffordshire area in the Midlands. I dunno about telling my friends . Maybe at a later date when they stop harrassing me with questions.

How's it going?

Well I rang Rich, the issue didn't come up in conversation because we were too excited that we were gonna see each other after 5/6 months. The issue about weight came up with zoe today and she said she couldnt see any problem with my weight and tried comparing me to other people then I got all ratty saying that I wasnt *other people* and its my opinion what I do for myself but I never said anything. I havent spoken to gemma or anything. I've ate a bit more today as well because I got really nervous and frustrated because I had to give a statement to the police so I had one small meal and a couple of biscuits.

Sorry to bring up an old topic again but I have just been feeling so bad these last few weeks its unbelievable. Yesterday I had my first meal in over 2 days and it really didnt agree with me. Today I ate a little bit. A couple of boiled potatoes a few peas and a bit of meat and I feel really bloated and sick even though it was over three and a half hours ago now. Amy is really worried because she stayed over on friday and from the time that she came to the time that she left I didnt eat anything and she kept going on about she is afraid that I'm going to make myself ill. Its just that I'm so scared, I don't want to put on weight. I don't want the taunts and bullying again. I want to be normal. I can cope with people not liking the way that I dress or act but I can't stand people picking on me for my weight. Thats basically it, I'm scared of it but I havent admitted it too anyone in RL
