Help me out guys..I've a decision to make, and I can't seem to make up my mind..
Well, I've been friends with this guy whom I call PP..we've always had a very different relationship...whenever he's drunk, he goes..marry me...i love you and everything..ofcourse, he doesn't say that when he's sober..but still gives me all kinds of hints. He left for australia last year, and since then..we've been in touch on phone, and the internet. The thing is, I really like him...cuz he is so original, sweet...and honest. I LIKE HIM.
But my problem is, I met this another guy, (A)...it has been almost a year..and we've become pretty close. He proposed to me 2 months back, and I always said I CAN'T COMMIT. But then, don't know what happened to me in march, I said...YES. And then..He's so serious now...and the thing is, I do too like him...and sometimes, i feel like I love him too...but then I think about PP..and it all seems so weird..like I shouldn't have said YES.
It's unfair to both guys. I too am leaving for australia next year...and A has decided to come with me. I don't know what to do...
And I'm scared to hurt both of them...I just can't choose...PP is the sweet, and honest guy, someone whom my parents would LOVE...and A LOVES me like hell, we've so much in common!!!

What should I do??

I would say tell them to back off, if youre 20 years old you probably dont need to think about settling down right now, unless thats what you really want to.

Well, yeah..maybe I am too young...but I don't wanna break any hearts either...I know that PP can control himself..and everything..but with A, he's like...scared the shyt outta' me...for he's like..'LL DIE FOR YOU.."...and i really don't want him to scrw up...

Sounds a little pathetic. Is that the kind of trait youd want in a man? that he would be so wrapped up silly that he would do stupid things? He would probably break down and cry a lot if you left him after 5 years of marriage if not suicide. Leaving him now would be better because he'd get over it.

You sound luke warm about both of these guys. I would say to break it off with both of them, focus on your studies and wait until you find someone who really knocks your socks off.

Tying yourself down to a couple of boys when youre 20 and yes if theyre in your age range at 20 theyre just that, boys; is a very very bad idea.

Instead of stringing them along, you should do the obvious now and let them go. They will be thankful in the long run. The longer you wait the more it will hurt.

A had a bad break up last year...and he's just gotten over it..and he's very committed to me...he does everything i ask him to do...and it's just in his eyes..which says how much he cares...
and really, i don't know how to break it to him...........what if he committs suicide or something? i've tried to tell him once or twice...but then i've seen his reaction..he was almost in tears..and i didn't know wht to do..so i told him i was just joking..and he made me promise not to make such jokes....

Sounds more like a wussy than a man. You should tell him that. If you feel trapped then you need to get out now. If commits suicide then he is to blame, not you. He cant emotionally hold you hostage. If he truly loved you as you claim he does he would know how to set you free.

Tell him all that.

to me it sounds as if you don't really know what you want. your too young to settle down with anybody. maybe those two men don't know what they want either. if that guy is saying that he wants to marry you while being drunk and never sober. he should be able to tell you when he is sober and not drunk. but since he isn't sober i don't think he is being serious. he is mainly telling what you want to hear and showing you what you want to believe when it comes to seeing. now with that other guy. being with somebody for a year. isn't really enough. you really need to know somebody before you want to marry them.

like i said these guys don't really know what they want. just like you don't know what you want as well. because everything is going way to fast.

do these guys right along with your self have a lot of money and to be able to share a life with you and take care of you right along with all of the other responsibilities and since they are men do you think they would be devoted to you and since you are a women do you think you would be devoted to them?


just say "you guys are both sweet men. i don't want to hurt either one of you. but i'm not ready to commit and settle down."

i think those guys are confussing marriage with lust. maybe you are thinking the samething. cause if you married one of those guys. it's going to be a one night stand marriage. like use you for a quick fuck and file a divorce and leave you stranded. they just want to get in your pants and fuck you.

I think that's what 'm gonna do now...go with the flow...you're right when you say, 'm too young for a serious committment...and yea...i really care about both guys..but that don't mean i've to spend my life with them.................

exactly and you got the point. you can still hang out with them. but like in a friendship kind of a hang out way. but with no serious relationships or committments. not even as friends with special privileges. just as nothing but friendships.

you should know who you are and know about what you want. before going off and doing something.

you said "YES" because you freaked out and you acted upon impulse. you have two men who proposed to you. which in that case you don't really know what to do, say, or handle the situation at the time it happened to you. even with everything that you have said yourself within this quote. you are not ready.
