As far as telling people not to kill themselves...That's bullshit. I spent years telling my friends to stop being suicidal and telling them that things would be okay. But things arent okay and if someone is threatening to kill themselves then I say go for it. Here's a gun. There's a skyscraper. Go kill your ass. It's mostly for attention and if its not then oh well. We'd all do ourselves a favor by blowing a hole in the back of our skulls, but the "Joy of Life" keeps us here.

i didnt just say to not kill himself , i was just saying that in a overall sort of way, so as to aviod long post. i guess i just gave a bad example for what i was meaning. what i actually meant was i can tell people to do certain things but when i need that advice i cant give it too my self . your right ,about the cry for attention thing but i disagree with what you said about just getting someone to beat the hell out of you if you want to cut or what ever. why affect other people when you only have to harm yourself, i just couldnt stand there and let someone beat the living shit out of me. i editted to the post just to aviod further responces like that.

yeah same with me. But its been a few weeks, anyway. I don't cut for attention, cause if i did, I would do it in open places. I do it on my stomache and on my ankle. I do it for the pain. No other reason. And, if i cut my arms, I don't do it so people ask questions, I make it one good one, so if asked, I cut it on the sharp knife at work. there.

The reason I am personally against cutting as a solution to problems...is because i have cut myself once. It didnt do anything for me, infact it made things worse.My whole arm was covered in them. It got me nowhere, I guess I was maybe experimenting...maybe it was coz I felt so fucked up at the time. I don't know...but thats why I made that post before...its why I am so against it...

I understand why you are against it, but you have to realize what works for one person doesn't always work for everyone...Some people find peace in cutting you didn't...You might be against it and thats your right...You also have to be sensitive to those who see no other way to deal with their problems...I would rather see people cutting themselves then comitting homicide or suicide...

good point miztress. I can do without it i think. Well, its been a month. I realized I can;t change much and now, I really don't care about anyone else, just a selected few. So I think that's easier. It's been working. I can't control the past, i can decide my future. I don't want to grow up full of scars and people judging. I don't know anymore. But its been a month now. I am gonna keep going.

I don't know how many of you here still have to deal with your parents on a regular basis, but mine are driving me fucking nuts. I have no privacy when I want it. And otherwise, they're so caught up in their own problems, I don't have a part in their life. It shouldn't matter, I guess. I know a lot of people who have absolutely no relationship with their parents. But it sucks. I'm sick of it, and tense, and stressed out. I can't discuss any of my family problems with anyone. I have a cousin who's got it a lot worse than I do. I know I have no place complaining. I'd rather live with my parents ignoring me than live like he does. But as serious as it may not be, it still affects my life. And no one seems to understand that. My parents don't care. Otherwise, they're inquisitive about the stupidest things. I haven't done SI in six or seven weeks, but if things keep going like this, I'm going to start again. I need some form of release that I'm not finding in writing or music anymore. And if I start up again, I'll be in real trouble. My parents are too aware of the "SI epidemic" for me to get away with it easily. I'll probably post on this thread again soon. It's good.. it's not that personal. Just to be clear, I don't want anyone's pity. I just needed to get that out.

hun, always here to listen. No pity from me. I have a love/hate relationship with my mom. We fight, but its ok. I hope everything gets better. Think of it the opposite, permenant privacy. I think sometimes i would rather be smothered. Just think of it this way, you won't be with them forever. Hell, i am 15 and i will be out in 2 years. SO I am gonna make the best of my time now. i have problems with my mom and dad all the time but hey its apart of being a teen. . . but the reason why i really dont get along with them is cuz they are allways tryin to get me to go to church and everythign is god this the bible says to do this and not to do this and to wear this and to think this so really most of the time i tune them out on other hand i really get along with my mom but its hard to cuz shes a skitzo bi- polar bitch and its true she is doctor proven

Yeah, I can relate to the depressed mother thing. I am kinda glad I have no ass hole father to deal with. My mom is manic depressed. It is hard with the high highs and the low lows, I try to stay busy and occupied a lot so I only end up being home at night. I go to school, work and play sports. Its very time consuming, and I think all theses things are good for me. If I am distracted by these things, that means I won't have time to do not so good things, but there is always time for some things.....

wow, I used to be like that. The summer time, that's why I am glad I am in school, the work sucks, but at least I am not at home. I got over that state of mind too. I used to feel it. Its been about 2 months since I cut. I don't need to anymore. I only care about the important stuff now. I don't worry about the little things that aren't going to affect my life in the long run. I hope you are well.
