ive found random objects around the house covered in cat pee. from newspapers, to paper bags, to t-shirts, to tissues, and now the bed!
ive got one adult female(fixed), and 2 kittens about 12 weeks old. a boy and a girl. my instincts are telling me its the boy thats the culprit but i can never catch em at it so i dont know who is doing it! i just want it to stop! i really dont want to get dig of him......
does anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do or what may be causing this?? quit your fucking whining.

Drown it, the only good cat is a dead one.
by the way boys usually spray to mark territory, put him out in the yard.

getting males fixed at 6 months of age keeps them from spraying. hes too young for that. and i refuse to put him outside where he can come into contact with outdoors cats that may have FIV or feline AIDS.
and as for your suggestion to drown him, sod off! its psyko's cat and im asking for help, not suggestions on how to murder pets. this is not the bitch board, its advice. which is why i posted here. quit your fucking whining.

build an outdoor pen. It will keep other cats away and him out of the house and safe. If you go to wal mart or home depot you can buy the wire mesh cheap for it, just get 4 stakes, put them in a square or rectangle or whatever and staple the mesh to it. Use an old sheet or cardboard for the roof to keep him in, but something detachable so you can take him out when you need to. This is the same thing ive seen people do for other small animals like rabbits and pigeons. It works pretty good. When he is old enough to get fixed, then you can bring him in.

id like to avoid that if i can.....i wonder if theres anything wrong with him.....he does seem a bit 'underdeveloped'. he and Lenore came from the same Litter....and Lenore was the only one that was the right size for her age. the rest were very much smaller. and Demon doesnt look at you dead on....seems like he has some difficulty in focusing. im wondering if maybe hes a little 'special'. quit your fucking whining.

Could be, or maybe he is just the runt of the littler, every litter has one. I used to breed my yorkshire terriers and they had a total of 6 puppies, there was ALWAYS a runt who matured slower than the others and one who was the alpha animal of the litter who ate the most and grew the fastest.
If you want to avoid that then youre going to have to lock the cat in your bathroom while you are out. If not that then youre going to have to buy some of those female cat "heat" underwear that they have around to keep him from spraying. If you dont like any of these ideas I dont think there is really much else you can do unless you want to drown him.

If you want to avoid that then youre going to have to lock the cat in your bathroom while you are out. | we got to see all the kittens and there were 6 kittens total. 5 of them were too small for their age. i picked out the only one that was the proper size. i was hell bent on getting a good healthy one with a great disposition. i lucked out. psyko picked Demon because every time he picked him up, Demon would jump out of his arms and tumble to the floor. the runt of that litter was a little guy they called 'Yodie'. Yodie stuck his face in his food instead of eating it. Yodie didnt use the litterbox. Yodie was a mess.
Demon will actually use the litterbox. but this random peeing is just odd.
and he doesnt do it when we are out. cos im home all day...but i cant catch him doing it. its freaky weird. quit your fucking whining.

I'll give you pointers, as i am the apparent cat person on DF.. But first....
as much as people cage rabbits and those rats with wings.. Caging a cat like that would only cause more problems..
And your welcome to drown anything you wish to within the laws of your city/state/country.. But personally, i don't see it as a viable option.. There ARE laws against drowning cats..
Now back to helping lilly....
It could be caused by several things... Male cats spray, but not till after puberty.. So at 12 weeks, it most likely isn't that..
Both sexes will pee on almost anything if the litterbox is 'full'. Full being that the wet litter in the box is less than 1inch below the surface. Or if the cats smell it too strongly..
note. If you can smell it, it's full to them!
If you change the type of litter you are using, they might not 'think of it' as the same litterbox...
If they try to cover up thier crap, and uncover wet litter, or more crap, they might look elsewhere..
Another common occurance with young cats is the simple fact that thier mother didn't have the time to 'teach' them that they should use the litterbox solely... It is about the same point as being weaned properly.. at 8 to 10 weeks.. Provided, of course, that the mother was trained to use a litterbox.. It's a common occurance with cats that are considered 'outdoor cats'.
And almost as common a reason is simpley that the cats feel they are being ignored..
But again, the most common reason is a 'full' litterbox..
Do you know which one is the culprit yet?? Beware the ex's.. They ARE out to get you... Nice guys finish last It isn't just a saying.. It's a fact of life! Those things that produced your ex......you know, the bitchmakers! Metagion

im assumming its the boy. im not fully sure WHY i think its him...but i think it is. Psyko thinks its just a phase. its not Luci as shes an adult and we had her for months before we got the kittens. this is a recent thing. and i feel that its not Lenore. shes a pretty wild lil kitten, loves to play and run around. Demon seems to have some issues. im really wondering if he isnt a bit retarded. the guy we got them from said that the mother is usually an outdoors cat and shes had several litters and most of the kittens come out kinda small and retarded. Demons eyes are kinda watery all the time and he has problems focusing. most kittens will go after anything that moves.....except him. he just looks at it. he will however totally attack your foot if youre standing still. he never meows....even if you give him a bath and he damn near never purrs. im half tempted to say its a mental thing.
and i thought it might be a litterbox issue but i cleaned the box, added liners, and more litter and he uses it for 'kitty business #2'......ive even seen him pee in there, so i have no idea what the random peeing issue is all about. quit your fucking whining.

see the other reason i posted... If it is the one thats slow, he may be needing/wanting of attention.. If he has a vision problem, then he might not be noticing everything around him and be insecure.. Beware the ex's.. They ARE out to get you... Nice guys finish last It isn't just a saying.. well, there is the chance that his vision and hearing are impaired to a point... Causing the 'slow' reaction time...
If this is the case, he actually might be the culprit.. he may not 'know'/'remember' where the litterbox is and may look for options..
you know, the clothes pile on the floor, or the papers left there as well....
try talking to him more often when he's near you.. and see if that makes a difference.... Beware the ex's.. They ARE out to get you... Nice guys finish last It isn't just a saying.. It's a fact of life! Those things that produced your ex......you know, the bitchmakers! Metagion

talking to him? what sort of difference does that make? hes an antisocial little bugger
its odd that its just pee....he remembers where the litterbox is when he needs to do the other thing. my mums under the impression that it may be because he is irritated. she says that grocery store brand cat foods are very high in ash and can cause bladder stones. shes says its not an issue for female cats since they can pass them fairly easily but it can irritate and eventually lead to blockage in males. ill try a change in diet soon to a better quality dry food and see if that makes a bit of a difference...better than cageing him quit your fucking whining.
