What do u do when u need/love someone so badly that it scares u? When they're all u can think about? When the desire to be with them over-rules ur want for anything else? When it seems obsessive but is so wonderful? When the distance between u 2 becomes an obsticle to be overcome yet is eating away at u inside? When u would do almost anything for them...just to see them smile or to make them happy?
I know I have it BAD...any advice would be appreciated.

Pay them for what? Love cannot be bought or sold...not the kind I desire/seek/need. This is more than purely physical lust.

Acknowledge what it is that makes you need.
To have your needs for absolution/happiness depend on another is slavery as well as tyranny. and has little to do with love..

but anyways, i mean people can fall in love badly. and if they do most of the times they go in blindly. that happens. people find out for themselves what happens after that, it either works out, or it doesn't.... you learn by failing... but to use your experience you have to be free of restraints...

Divine Sin, Im sort of in the same boat as you. I am in love with a dear freind, are you friends with this person? in either case work on that aspect first and play it cool i have to reign in my love for the girl i love right now because my instinct is to grab her and kiss her and hold her forever!!!! But common scence takes over, and I dont think she would appreciate the grabbing part. Also try and focus on something else, work, school , hobbies and interests. I have a new motto for love : be a candle and not a torch hope that helps

beleive they call that obsession, most teens have a problem with that when they 1st begin to date, however as we mature its a little bit better.

HMmm....first of all..just to clarify..I am no teenager....I am 29 years old and have been in enough serious relationships to know what I feel and such. I CAN and have lived without this guy in my life...I could continue without him if I had to..It's not about that. He and I have been friends for a year now...but since the first, I thought him very special. I'm not going to go into details...but this is no immature, teenage crush. If u knew me, u would know that I don't work that way. I would give up all I know to be with this man...I would alter my world just to be by his side...I want to share life with him...the good and the bad. I am no inexperienced fool...I have thought alot about this...I have and would wait for him if need be....he knows (most) of how intense I feel for him. As to the asking him out or telling him this...he and I are already b/f and g/f... I was merely wanting to know if anyone else knows what it's like to love someone so intensely....Thanks to all...esp Dargo...who have posted advice. Any other suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

think of him old, stinking up the bathroom, sharing everything, all the aspects of being unromantically a man, raising children from birth to adulthood with him, and looking forward to being old and wrinkly together, shuffling across the street...if you can handle that...then go for it.

but if it's based on the here and now...the romantic thrill of someone new and exotic, that's where it'll stay. i don't think one can know real love until they live with eachother...than you really get to know the person...that's the largest challenge of partnership...meshing harmoniously with another entirely different soul, losing some of your own...
