I havent had it done myself but I have talked to people who have before. I want to get it done myself but since I fucked up my hand last summer I havent been able to afford it. From what Ive been told and seen the surgery its self doesent hurt really BUT it leaves you VERY photosensitive (extreme sensitivity to light). So if you get it done I highly recomend investing in a few pairs of dark sunglasses lol. That for me will be the only drae back since as is 100 watt light bulbs hurt my eyes and give me migranes so you can imagine what the sun does to me lol. I would venture to guess though that if yoru not that sensitive to light right now you wont end up anyworse then I am allready. It does however work in everyone Ive seen. But as Ive heard it isnt a surgery for everyone and some places will try to ripp you off by telling you that your a good condidate when infact you arent. I recomend searching for several different companies that preform the surgery talk to all of them as well as a licensed optomitrist who doesnt offer that surgery to get as many opinions on your capability to recieve it as possible. So basicly Worth it? Yes. Safe? Yes. Painfull? Not too sure but other then the photosensitivity probably not. To define what is you in turn define what is not. Deffinition creates a form of existance even in nonexistants. |
