i'm kind of bumed out... man i'm so not going to get anywere in my life... it feels like everyone is moving on with there lives... getting knew friends... doing new things... while i'm stuck here at the house... i don't have a car... nore do i have anyone to go out or do stuff with... that i
trust !!

i'm only 21... before i used to be excited in being in a band... know i don't care for that dream of mine... why cause i know that its not going to happen... that stuff only happens to you once... me playing one time in a band... that was it... i had a girl name sandra and her number... cause her and i were talking one time at wal-mart... how i play the guitar and how i played infront of people that one night... then she mentioned that she played the drums... she wrote me down her number... on a bandaid...

so as i am sitting here on my computer... i was looking at her number... saying to my self that she plays the drums... i play the guitar... i need to get a hold of her... instead i ripped her number in half... then i looked over at my guitar... then i said fuck it...

1. was because i haven't been practicing my guitar... for a long while...

2. my amp goes out cause of the cables...

3. i'm not that good... but the croud loved me that one time when i played for them... they were clapping and cheering for me... everyone at the bar was talking to me... asking me a couple of questions... on my guitar and what inspired me to play it... even though i am left handed and the guitar is back wards...

4. i don't think that i will pick up my guitar and start playing...

5. even if i was going to jam out with this chick... i don't know what type of songs to be playing that she might or might not know how to play... i only know half and half of the songs...

6. maybe i'm afraid... *turns my head over to the number* that i just tore in half...

know maybe if i could be in a band... i could get out of the fucking house!! not play on the computer so much... i could meet people and hang out at places... shit i don't know!!

i just don't want to be stuck here for the rest of my life... i'm still young.. i don't want to grow old... then having to look back on my life how lazy i was... how i didn't try hard enough to get what i fucking want... by then it will be to late... but i'm not old... i'm still young...

if you people were in my position... what would you all do...

What are your other talents? What else can you do? Fall back on something else. I know that later on, for me, if I fail at one thing, I SHOULD be able to fall back on something else. Try to think of how you could do that.

that is the only tallent i do... i'm not that smart of a chick... the only other thing that i do is lift weights... thoughs are my two tallents... but i don't think lifting weights is a fucking tallent... anyone could lift weights... even a 5 year old could lift them...i don't not no what to fall back on...

Just take time and think about it...there has to be something.

well maybe i could try and call her... make something out of it... i mean how would you know... if your dream is not going come true... if you don't call and see right...

Shy, I say just go for it. It wouldn't hurt to try new things and live a little. If nothing happens with this band, so what? No real big loss. Life is just a series of experiences. Why not add some to the list. Who knows, maybe you'll become famous for this band one day. Then you can hook my band up. Hehe.

go ahead and give it a try. this way you'll have something to strive for and it'll give you a reason to pick up and practice your guitar!
also, not so much look for your talents, look for your passion. i'm not good at drawing but i love to do it. i'm fairly good at writing poetry and i absolutly LOVE to write. so look about what you like to do and see where u can go w/ it. good luck and have fun!

yes indeed passioins are a great thing to have. if u dont feel passionatly about something then dont do it. its just that simple.

i love to play my guitar, but i suck. but it still dont matter to me because i love it.

i love to play drums. im ok at them, but i love it.

i love to write, and act, and sing, and a whole bunch of other things to. allways be comfortable, and passionate about something u do. because if it turns into work, and isnt fun anymore, it will ruin itself.

well when i'm not afraid to call this one chick... that plays the drums... i'll go a head pick up my guitar... practis on some of the songs that i know... even if i don't know the hole intire songs... i'll go a head give this band thing a shot... like you all have said to me... that it would not hurt to try and do something new like this... thank you everyone that has replied... you all have been a great help... i send you my deep thanks *hugs everyone* then when i have tried this... i'll let you all know how it worked out and stuff...

when ever your with people in a band... usually people have other equipment around... like extra cords, guitar straps, and other shit like that...

Man you should see all our shit strung around my garage when we praticed. We barely had any room to move around. Well, they didn't. Drummers don't move...hehe.

man i didn't know that you had a band... man the so everyone does carry extra equpiment... i was to take a look at your garage then hehe...

If I where you Shy, I would hit myself over a wall, hit it again...then take a walk somewhere..anywhere...to a forest or something...then I would try to release this stress, maybe cry...
I would talk to a dog or something, anything that could listen...
Then I would go to sleep early... and at the next day I would listen to an uplifting song, or a song with lots of nerves...and I would try to find her number again and call her.

look for one thing i did not lose her number... i still have it... i just riped it in half... i got her number back... thoughs were really nice words of you to say edge...
