I tried to post this before...but apparently it didnt work.

I think the metro trend is basically just a bunch of guys with lots of money who found out (through trial and error, firstly, so they must have liked doing it) that putting a little effort into their appearance made them more appealing to the gals...but when they got sick and tired of being called faggots, they banded together and got some magazine editor to give them a label.

I think it's just another label. We're obsessed with them. If a label can't be assigned, one will be made up or adapted for you.

there are male and female metro-sexual's ya know... They all have hair about the same length, they all wear the same type of clothing, they all use those stupid bags to carry their stuff in(cell phone, thin dayplanner, notebook, and bottled water)..

Hence the term.. The hard part now is to figure out if it's male or female before they get within 50yards of you!!

I'm partial to offensive labels, so I just call the metro-gals butches or dykes.

To many juxtaposition is just a word. To me juxtaposition is a philosophy of life, when you juxtapose your thoughts you can achieve a different type of thinking that lets you see any problem from any point of view, thus letting you solve all problems in the most effective way. Juxtaposition is when you put two things of conflicting nature in the same area, or to speak about two conflicting ideals in the same sentence. Juxtaposition is a form of irony. Juxtaposition is ironic because conflicting views, words or pictures are placed in the same general area or sentence. Juxtaposition is not literally irony; it is just a form of it. One prime example of juxtaposing two things of conflicting nature is the Middle Eastern religions. The Jews and Muslims both believe themselves to be the chosen people of God. And both believe themselves to be on the promise land that their god has given them. Why do they constantly have holy wars if both religions teach peace? The Christians of old did the same things. If God loves all people why were the Native Americans thought of as soulless savages? Why was there even one crusade? Human nature is the answer. Everything in life is ironic. The irony of the human nature is amazing. We humans live to pass our seed and to create life, yet we cannot seem to live without killing and destroying everything on the planet. Everything about our nature is juxtaposed.

Everything about human emotions is ironic. One emotion cannot be felt or recognized unless we are feeling or have felt the opposite emotion. What is love without hate? Nothing. One cannot know love without having felt hate. One cannot know bravery or courage without fear. The only way for courage to show its true face is to see the true form of fear. When thought about fear and courage do not exist, only problems exist. In a way the existence of problems is actually as close to perfection as humans will ever get. Because of the juxtaposed nature of the human being a “perfect” world never ascertainable. We humans would never be able to live in this plain of existence without trials and tribulations. To be human is to be imperfect, but aren’t mistakes perfectly normal, so in a sense humans are perfect. What is perfect? Does anyone know? Will we ever know? I would never want to live in what we consider to be perfect. Even if it was possible, what type of person would live there? Perfect is just a word and perfect will not be the same for any two people.

Good and evil exist. Recognizing which is which is the problem. Sometimes it is hard to tell the difference between the two, and other times impossible. Without evil would good exist? Or is evil the inevitable offspring of good? I leave these two questions for you readers to ponder.
