Anyone know any(decent ones) in utah?? Salt lake area to be more specific.. Need to file a response in less than 15 days from Monday.. Just a cheap one to cover my arse so i don't get custody stripped from me in the process of them adding $28.50 a month in child support..

Legal aid is not accepting any new cases due to funding cuts..(I.E. there outta moolah)

yeppers.... I have known Tiggs for going on.... shit.... almost 16 years now.... and his ex as well... the one suing him for child support and whatnot.... thank whatever gods there are I never had a kid with the woman... ummm... yeah

I think Tiggs should take her for the big ride..... but he wants to be nice.....

if I ever found myself in that situ with any kids id let the offending impregnator have them, im sure he would beg me to take them back after a few weeks. Any kids of mine would be mini versions of their dad and in that respect complete bastards.

well, it's about time to see whats going on.. The Bit** i mean ex-wife made an interesting statement after our son's school concert(for those of you who have been to utah and seen a symphony or opera you'll know this place) at Abravanel Hall. Yes, he was in it playing violin :proud:
he stated he wanted to come to my place thurs night.. Her and her current husband looked at each other and her hubby stated to our son, you meed to talk with me and your mother before you tell your father things like this..(bad comment one)
and then after our son stated a time frame for me to come pick him up, She stated "no, micheal(her current husband) won't be there!" (strange comment two), then followed with "well my mom and sister will be there so maybe."(strange comment three)... And then argued slightly with me about my picking him up, Why can't she just set the time(and be late for the billionth time) and drop him off...
Now i ask you, Since i have NEVER threatened her with violence, Nor EVER struck her in any manner.. Why Is she so worried about me picking up our son if her husband isn't there??
And Where doe he get off telling my son not to say things to me before discussing it with 'them' first???
Side note for those of you out of the loop.. This is the Ex that i am doing the lawyer thing with.. And custody of our son is a 50-50 split all across the board.. I currently pay $0.00 child support, but she gets to claim him on taxes every, yes every year..
AND she has repeatedly stated to him, even in front of me, that where he stays is HIS choice.. And i have said the same thing to him often...

*yawns and streaches, whips out glasses and reads past posts for more info* interesting case... if you want to go easy. then you should be able to reach an agreement with your ex out of court. if you want to be on the safe side. get a law grad to back you up. if you want to be hard. take out a loan and go all out.... as long as you win of course there isnt' anything to worry bout. *shrugs* i was in same sit with my mom and 'real' dad.... cept deadbeat dad made decision to stay out of my life afterwards and he quickly reached an agreement with my mom and step dad. good luck to you.

As for your situation, that is slightly different.. Sorry to hear that your dad bailed on a permanent basis.. I intend to stay involved with this son... And would my first born if he ever got ahold of me again..
