ok, so i apologize for such a trivial problem, but i do need advice. i have an assignment where i have to pick a favorite poem of those i have written. i've posted some in a poetry thread at this forum, but i am so indecisive that i am asking you to pick your favorite.

"Things"

Tis an akward thing:
To love that which is unable,
To be that which I detest,
To feel what makes me vomit.

Tis a wicked thing:
To want that which is unreachable,
To lick that which is bitter-sweet,
To give away what belongs to me.

Tis a scary thing:
To be content with discontent,
To know the soul within this shell,
To escape the souls outside.

Tis a dirty thing:
To taste desire gone foul,
To take pleasure in such gustation,
To swallow it whole.

Tis a horrible thing:
To take pride in hate,
To transcend my own devices,
To alieviate discourse vicariously,

Tis an akward, wicked, scary, dirty, and horrible thing....
To be me.

and these ooo i like them all but its soo hard to choose but i am madly in love with these ones most definately!!!!

"A mystery"

I am a slave of discontent,,

When I am irate I choose to vent--
I rarely ever hide.

Because of this I must confess,

You maintain at mountain's crest
And in the shrouded sea.

With chameleon sight,
And fog opaque,
You keep your blight.
No more can I take.

Remove your veil,
Leave your hate,
Release winds of hail,
I know the paon is great.

You may grieve,
You may lament,
But do not leave,
Without my consent.

Reveal Yourself,
For me to see,
And clear off that shelf,
So forever we can be.

if that is any help whatsoever im not shure that it will be, but i just cannot pick i like all of them way tooo much! at least i narrowed it down to 3!
