Move on, find yourself a guy that's closer to home and one you can have real talks and experiences with *both physical and emotional*.

Take online relationships slowly, treat them all as friendships only and only ever think of anything deeper once *and only if* you meet them and even then go very slow and careful.

Most things in life are never easy, relationships often being the hardest. Any relationship where communication is difficult *as in with the lack of emotional interaction on a tangible level via the internet* is off to a very bad start.

Don't take my words as criticism, take them merely as someone who has been there and done that and wouldn't like to see a young person's view of love and life to become clouded simply because they where not ready to listen to the words of someone who didn't take time to listen to others when they really should have...

I don't want to dodge your advice because I know you mean well but many suggestions were laid out rather arrogantly and I didn't appreciate it. Thanks.

Arrogance or not, try to look past that to the heart of their points. I think alot of these guys are right, it's a bad idea. I think it's just that your naivette in this area reminds us all of when we were naive and made the same mistake. Their responses are passionate ones because it seems as though alot of us were hurt by this sort of thing or matters similar and we see you walking into the same sort of situation. Try not to be too offended if we say you are young, inexperienced, naive, etc. Because all of us at one point in time were too and it's bitter experiences that makes us all so jaded and touchy about the subject.

Ultimately though, it won't do much good to rail you too much over it so I've refrained. You'll do what you will with our advice as is your right, but ultimately our most impacting lessons are those not garnered from others' experiences, but instead from our own.

Agreed. Though, I namely took 2 segments of advice from certain people with due respect.

Speaking of advice from old people, here's the real deal.
My daddy told me something his dad told him and I haven't forgotten,...as of yet, because he doesn't say many things like this to me.

If you ask me, that's some nifty advice there.
