Okay ... I have this little problem and it's very annoying ...
People at school (especially the popular ones) says and thinks I'm a Satanist and they are starting to spread it to the ENTIRE school and they don't even know me !!!! I'm like in the ONLY goth in that school ... (Maybe there's a few others) They even cut my hair ... I'm a very emotional, shy and serious person with a low self esteem. I'm always the one protecting the "dorks" from bullies and stuff ... I'm just confused, because they talk shit about me and say I'm a Satanist and do bad things to me and stuff .... And I have no friends (I had!) ...
I feel like shit ... I can't stand the lonliness anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway ....

I'm a sociopath (not a homocical killer as hollywood would have you believe that all sociopaths are, we just value people differently) and if it wasn't something that was decided in the womb I'd advocate it for everyone.

What does it matter what they think or say, you just keep your head down and live for the day that you shove your Nobel prize up their self important nostrils.

Seriously though, the trick here is to turn this to your advantage (I won't presume to tell you how, you know all the details I'm sure you'll think of something ) that way you both get yourself out of this little hole and rub their noses in it.

I thrive on making people think false things about me, it's a game I play; and those who honestly know me can see the facade for what it is.

I am who I am, regardless of who mocks me... they will see how badly it hurts when I return the emotional pain.

No-one has ever seriously gone against me (I tend to NOT provoke mockery, however, and I've been in an environment for two years where it is in everyone's best interest to get along), yet if someone did......

As Feroluce said, you know the situation, you can deal with it as you see fit... however, let them think you are a Satanist, get some free Christian tracks and pass them out, recruiting for a church, for the element of humor. Honestly, do some community service, try to get teachers on your side, etc. SOME people can look beyond appearances, and those are who you want to converse with.

just as long as you don't believe that your a satanist... then you should have nothing to worry about... you said so your self that is just a rumor thats going on about you...

The truth is, you do not need to be validated by other people. Walking and talking with confidance, not cockiness, carries more weight than anything else. Being secure of yourself on the inside shows on the outside.

Find your gifts, capitalize on them, never hang your head, and always smile, even when you are weeping inside.

Is it hard? Once you learn how very damn special you are no, it isn't hard. The hard part is establishing and maintaining that belief.

Well being that I AM A SATANIST, it never bothered me when people called me that. Shit it did help out when they thought i sacrificed animals and babies a bit. When there was a thought of me doing in their favorite dog, cat, girlfriend what have you they tended to leave me alone. Oh and i guess the violent outbursts i would have kinda helped out as well. Fuck it, don't worry about the dorks, and worry about yourself. If you don't like it avoid the situations you might be put in. One night sit home and plan out someway you could get one of them back. Be the ghost they never see, or want to be near. Oh and if they are going to spread rumors why not help them in that matter and spread some pretty good ones of your own. Tell one girl you heard her boyfriend telling them that last time they had sex he video taped it and they he was going to let them see it.

Flaw, I'm feelin ya on this one.. And actually, when I was your age.. (which was four years ago.. fuck I sound like I'm fifty fer bob's sake.. ) I was going through a lot of the same shit. You know what I wound up doing? I cut my hair, I started wearing "normal" clothes, I did my best to conform. I actually made "friends" with a bunch of the preps. So here's my report on them.

Now, note that I'm not applying this to all preps, just to the greater part of them, and any of you who has taken the time to get to know a few preps will know I speak truth here.

Preps are without a doubt, the most irritating, shallow, stupid people you'll ever meet. They'll stab you, and eachother, in the back, just because they feel like it. Their worst problem will be that they can't decide whether they want to go to Harvard or Yale, and they'll expect you to feel really sympathetic about that.

If you're lonely.. Try this.. Look around your classes as you go through the day. You'll see certain people, sitting in the back of the room, not really talking to anyone. They'll be throwing off vibes like they really, really don't want to be bothered. Those are the people to go for. Talk, make friends with them. They'll be better friends, and you'll have a lot more common ground with them, than you ever would with the other people.

As to rumors.. Well.. They CAN be used to your advantage. One of the rumors about me was that I always carried a knife in my trenchcoat. One day this kid was harassing me, and harassing me, and harassing me.. So I reached into my coat, and closed my hand around nothing, but kept it in there, and glared at him.

He left me alone RIGHT quick, lemme tell ya!
