i am 19 and pregnant and have no idea what to do is it because i don't have any maternal instincs.
or is this common in every first pregnancy?

hmm.... well... there are three options... motherhood, adoption, or coat hanger (thats not a pleasent one)... i suggest you think long and hard about your life, the potential for life inside of you, and the future... then choose one.

Its different for everyone. During pregnancy many mothers form a strong bond with their babies, others still feel no connection even when holding their baby. It will *usually* in such cases grow during the first few months but no-one can say for sure.
You are young, its a huge thing in your life, someone completely dependant on you, its bound to feel strange.

i have no exp in this but i can say i raised some family members, you will feel a bond while raising them. but i would suggest that you talk to your parents. see how they feel. then talk to the stupid ass that impregnated you. see how he feels. make sure he stands by you.... if he doesn't get ahold of me... ill make sure he does afterwards... *cracks knuckles*

i have thought about it and i love the idea of being pregnant
my boyfriend thinks it's a blessing his parents whom i havent even met think im a tramp, but my family is supportive so think things are going to be alright,
if it's a girl im going to name her Ariana lynn miller
if it's a boy he's going to name it something with a b. wayne fowler.

| I think the main focus of your mind should be you were half the reason this baby will come into you'r life.And you have to take full responsibility.My sister was you'r age when she had her baby...her and her child have such a good realationship.If it wasn't for her kid she wouldn't be where she is today.Even though she is only 2 she has such an effect too.On her Dad too...and thanks to the whole family I am where I am today because of their support.So you have to try you'r best because it is DISGUSTING AND WRONG for abortion.And anyone who kills a baby deserves to be executed.They did they = crime to their child.If you cant financially care for the child then give it to an adoption agency.Thats not an easy choice....but good luck.  | |

I was scared, but you know what? There's no mother out there, I don't care if they're 35 and a millionaire, that's a better mom than me. She's my world, my everything. I can't even imagin my life without her in it. Trust me, You'll be fine.

Cuz of morning sickness? I had that morning, noon, and night till I gave birth. It usually calms down after the first few weeks though. I used to just lay down in the bath tub with the shower running cool water. That or hop in the pool. That'll help.
