I tend to like listening to music, reading poetry and literature, writing, art, roleplaying, gothic architecture (churches/castles) and moonlight walks especially through graveyards or across forested areas/moors. I often like to go camping as well especially in a nice quiet area just with friends and the sound of owls hooting.

I like a wide range of music including darkwave, symphonic metal, industrial, classical as well as a lot of old school stuff. My favourite bands are Inkubus Sukkubus, Kamelot, Lacrimosa, Rhapsody, Nightwish, The Cure, Dead Can Dance and Angels of Venice.


I tend to go for the long leather jacket and DMs look for during the day but change to period clothing for nights.

I can either be really loud or very quiet depending on the mood i'm in and the atmosphere around me.

I am just about to go off to university in the next few weeks.

And i believe thats all i can think of at the moment

Hello all.

The opening post says to tell a little about your lifestyle, and introduce yourself, so here goes. My husband and I have some weird little fetish fantasies, and the other night, we were surfing the 'net, looking for some "goth women". Their fashion, looks, and attitude intrigue us. Some how, this forum showed up on google as we we were about done looking around. The next day, I wanted to look around more of this forum. It is quite interesting, and I hope to post comments here and there. While I don't know if I truely fit what seems to be the target population, I hope all of you don't mind me posting and/or lurking. There are some really fascinating threads here, and some yummy pictures.

Well I might as well introduce myself.....
My name is Ryan, I like so many things it's hard to place myself as anything

I like all forms of music except country, pop, and rap..... and usually it's all based on mood from the works of Musogorsky to Death metal to synthy stuff I will listen to it.
I play guitar, basically any sax, bass guitar, and trying to learn the bag pipes
I love movies mostly drama, horror, silent films, comedies just about anything
I like poetry, all kinds of literature, and anything creative and artistic
I like to travel..... although i get lost if I drive but that's even more fun!
I am quite materialistic but it doesn't really make me happy ..... my happiness lies in making others happy and I will do anything to make someone laugh or cheer someone up.
I tend to be disgustingly honest... you ask i tell I have nothing to hide.
as for my clothing style it is divided into two groups... work clothes ewww hate that darn uniform and my leisure time clothes.... usually tending to be black in color ... pants shirts whatever
as for sub culture I don't know... I never really totally fit in anywhere but then again what defines it??? we're all different and no one is exactly a clone of everyone else.... I've been told I'm like a freak/goth hybrid but I have really no idea... but I am very crazy and have a serious tendency to rant or just have insane things pop up out of nowhere and sadly it scares people. um I think I wrote way too much but hey if I left anything out or you want to know more just ask

Hi there, and welcome .... you seem to be alot like myself actually, except i can "tolerate" some pop heh.

We am utterly mad.
"We" being: Roy(Zarcoff Il'ellos), Fredrick "Fred"(Liam Aksutra), Bob(the baby dragon), and George(The Apethetic One).
Zarcoff is the main "me" and I like most music ranging from Willie Nelson, Johny Cash, ICP, OZZY, Metalica, Lorenna McKinnet, David Allen Coe, Pink Floyd, and Ray Wylie Hubbard.
I am very light sensative so I avoid the day time as much as possible. I'm generaly considered a freak, goth, and an out cast by those that meet me, and my anti social tendencies don't seem to help much either.
I have a few close friends, whom I don't get to see or speak to as often as I'd like.

Fred enjoys the "old ways" and nature. His personality is very elven. he doesn't listen to music much but rather enjoys a slow violin tune occasionly, or to sit on the beach and listen to the waves. He rather likes the quiet company of other elven people and is very physical but not in a sexual way.

Bob is hyperactive and enjoys music with a fast beat or humorus lyrics. He wants to learn to fly so he can look down at the world with a crooked grin and tell it to wiggle. Bob is very social and ofeten gets himself into trouble but nothing serious. His favorite passtime is chasing small animals and eating dry cereal.

Geoge is bad and can never come out or he'll hurt someone.
